About me: I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, right at the turn of the century. From an early age, I was captivated by the world of construction and architecture—perhaps because in my own city, progress seemed to stand still. Caracas, the capital of the country, hadn’t seen any truly significant new projects for decades, while other cities around the world were rapidly transforming year after year. That contrast stayed with me, fueling a curiosity and a quiet determination. When the time came to choose a path, architecture felt like the only natural option. I haven’t looked back since.
At first, I dreamed of studying at home, contributing to change in Venezuela. But opportunities there are scarce, and sometimes the path forward requires stepping away. That decision brought me to Spain, the country my ancestors once called home. Here, I’ve not only deepened my studies but also immersed myself in a culture that constantly inspires me. I’ve met incredible people, discovered amazing places, and learned that architecture is not only about structures—it’s about the atmospheres, the moods, the human experiences that spaces hold.
My View of Architecture: To me, there’s a distinction between good architecture and popular architecture. Popular works often get the spotlight—shared endlessly on Instagram or celebrated simply because of a big name—but I’ve come to believe the true gems are sometimes quiet, hidden, and deeply meaningful. The best spaces are not just beautiful backdrops for photographs; they are places people want to live in, touch, and return to. For me, architecture is about creating spaces that invite interaction, spark emotion, and feel alive.
Looking Ahead: I believe the future of architecture lies in its ability to adapt—embracing new technologies, prioritizing sustainability, and reshaping itself to match the evolving ways people live. We’re also seeing architecture gradually merge with the digital world, where the metaverse and physical spaces intertwine. I see this as an opportunity: to design environments that are flexible, responsive, and meaningful, no matter which world they belong to.
Inspiration: My inspiration comes from movement—walking through a museum, standing in front of a work of art, experiencing a city street. I find energy in observing, in seeing how spaces breathe and how people inhabit them. I look to the masters who shaped the discipline—Alvar Aalto, Luis Barragán, Jørn Utzon—and to contemporary innovators like Thomas Heatherwick and Francis Kéré. But above all, I find inspiration in the simple act of being present, of experiencing life through the spaces we create.

Keramish Vat
Amsterdam, Sloterdijk
Keramish Vat is a contemporary ceramic and pottery workshop designed as a flexible creative hub for artisans, visitors, and small companies. The building’s plan is defined by a cluster of interconnected domes of varying diameters, forming studio spaces, public pavilions, galleries, and communal areas. Its organic layout and stepped floor levels create a unique spatial experience that adapts naturally to site topography. The project combines robust structural concrete shells, ventilated slabs, and traditional brick finishes to balance industrial performance with crafted warmth — celebrating the tactile nature of ceramic making at every scale.
*the pattern of the facade comes from abstracting of traditional Dutch Pottery and patterns
The Keramish Vat workshop is conceived as a continuous open space, shaped by a sequence of interconnected domes that naturally divide the building into distinct but visually connected zones. Instead of using solid partitions, the project organizes its studios, gallery areas, pavilions, and communal spaces through gradual changes in floor level — each dome sits at a slightly different height relative to the next.
*cut at 5 meters
These gentle level shifts create a clear sense of spatial transition: from more public, open areas to more private or specialized workspaces. The varied dome heights also help manage acoustics and daylight, giving each zone its own character within the open plan.
*cut at 0 meters
for this project many models where made in order to test the properties of the ceramics and conceptual models (worked with my ceramic studio at Num)
All floor level differences are resolved through a network of accessible ramps and small staircases integrated directly into the structural raft slab. These connections are shaped as smooth sculpted transitions that follow the topography of the domes, making the movement between spaces seamless and inclusive. Together, this approach creates an organic sequence of flowing spaces, defined not by walls but by the subtle choreography of height, curvature, and continuous movement.
*The movement in the project is achieved by creating a singule story building but with different height levels that connect through ramps and stairs

Le Grand Pont. More than just a bridge, it’s a megastructure that unites not just landmasses, but cultures, experiences, and people. It fosters interaction, providing spaces for residents, athletes, and visitors to come together.
Le Grand Pont aspires to be a lasting symbol of unity, a testament to the transformative power of the Olympic Games, woven into the very fabric of Paris.
Le Grand Pont can be considered a miniature linear city! Stretching over 550 meters with a width of 21 meters in some sections, it offers a unique multi-layered experience. Imagine a city stretched along a bridge.
A long lasting legacy for the city of Paris Services and Facilities, with multipurpose rooms as well as specific spaces to train. City Side” Island Side
Concepts: Monumentality, Bridge, connect, Contrast, UNion, movement
Its program is organized in five stories, the first level, which is underground, is a strip placed along the Siene river and is of commercial use, the second is also underground and expands a little away from the Siene, making the plan bigger, and mixes the commercial use with some residential units. The third and fourth stories are of residential use, and the fifth floor is part Residential and part Services and Facilities. The fifth floor holds the services, as it is also the connection point of the building.
canvas for Connection
*there are many waysof moving throughout teh building the use of escalators, stairs, elvators , ramps and open public spaces
Seen as the plot is divided by the Siene River into two, the project is also divided into two. We will identify them as “Island Side” (left), which is nestled within the embrace of the Seine, as the river wraps around the plot on two opposite sides. This presents a peaceful haven, or oasis, that can be improved where nature will take center stage, and the “City Side” (right), facing the Seine on one side and integrating seamlessly with the urban landscape on the other. The heart of Le Grand Pont, however, lies in the bridge itself. This central section transcends its purpose of mere connection. It becomes a vibrant public space, teeming with life. Here, people from all walks of life can gather, stroll, or simply soak in the panoramic views of the city.
Le Grand Pont is both a landmark and cultural hub, defined by its seven striking red bridge frames symbolizing connection and the Olympic spirit. Within these frames, commercial spaces shops, cafés, and restaurants—face the Seine, creating a vibrant riverside experience. Beyond commerce, the bridge also serves as an evolving open-air art gallery, with its dynamic roof showcasing murals and street art by local and international artists. Public participation through workshops and open calls strengthens community ownership. By merging commerce, architecture, and art, Le Grand Pont becomes a lively desti- nation that fosters connection, creativity, and a unique view of Paris.

NEO-NOMAD
After the COVID-19 pandemic, the term “Working from Home” or “Remote work” became a new standard of life for people all around the world. This new way of working brings a world of possibilities for flexibility in ways of not only working. But living... Neo-Nomad is a project that will allow people all around the world to live in a community, learning culture, monuments, and people in the Spanish capital. The idea is not to stay in one place forever, be constantly moving, exploring, and learning.
even the furniture becomes other things
The projects consist of “HomePods”, which are temporary homes that will host and change for the different people, situations, and times. The pods are movable in order to create a much more intimate gathering and meeting space in the community.

The Trippy Pavement: Acting as a guiding thread, a colorful, patterned pavement winds through the site, creating a surreal promenade. It connects a network of green areas, open-air pavilions, and communal gathering points, while subtly choreographing the movement of users.
Housing Clusters: The project incorporates 30 houses with diverse typologies, offering flexibility in how residents live and interact. Each house starts from a basic living core—a compact unit with living room, kitchen, dining area, bedroom, and bathroom.
Expandable Additions: Attached to the core, modular extensions provide space for multiple uses depending on the chosen typology—whether it’s for creative studios, guest rooms, wellness spaces, or social lounges. This allows each house to adapt to the user’s lifestyle, blurring the line between private and communal living.

Spiral Of Life
The building will be located in the heart of the plot of the Spirala Community, connecting all the people in the same place, and offering them an space for doing several activities as events, cooking, having meals, dancing, doing exercises, meditating not only in the designed rooms, but also in the outside because our design relates the topography with its difference of level with the building proposed. The structure of the walls is made of bricks, which can be constructed by the habitants of the village. Besides, there are certain openings that were thought for having a direct connection with the environment, referring to light, ventilation, and visibility. It is important to mention that our geometry was based on a spiral that started in the center were the olive tree was planted, and the curves designated the shape of the

modules created for this community. Our project is the result of creating a wide space for the members of the community that can have different functions and the proposal is based on a program that considers the interior and exterior areas, relating them with the surroundings. The center is determined by an olive tree as a symbol of life. From the tree the spiral of life is born, the spiral which gives life to our site. Its grows and expands touching down on important spots that communicate each star represents a intersection between a space and another, or element with nature or even life with life
Spiral was a MUST on the listof things asked for the competition. As we were designing the headquarters for the Spiral Community.
The Contemporary Avenue is an urban intervention designed to weave contemporary living and creativity into the very fabric of Madrid’s historic city center. A colaboration of spaces that include private residences for artists, a Museum, Gallery, and Restaurant—all interconnected by art in the public realm.
The project reimagines the urban landscape as an open-air exhibition, where installations, sculptures, and interventions spill into the streets, guiding pedestrians along a curated path of discovery. By dissolving the boundaries between private and public, Contempo Ave transforms the act of moving through the city into an artistic experience—inviting both locals and visitors to engage with contemporary culture in their everyday lives.
* this was a colaborative project with other colleages in which we created the concept and focused on different parts of the project
At the center of Contempo Ave stands MCM, envisioned as the beating heart of the project and its most iconic landmark. Just as the Museo del Prado embodies the legacy of Classical art and the Reina Sofía champions Modernism, MCM aspires to become Madrid’s defining home for Contemporary Art and Culture.
