Students at EDS are supported and challenged to work hard and do their best. They learn with experienced, enthusiastic teachers how to solve problems, collaborate, think critically, and genuinely embrace the learning process. From PreK2 through 8th Grade, our students are excited to excel at EDS.

You have room to roam!

Episcopal Day School boasts two beautiful downtown campuses which include four playgrounds, two outdoor classrooms, two soccer fields, green space, an outdoor ampitheather, and gardens galore. The South Campus Play Space was unveiled in fall 2023. This $2.3 million dollar space includes a basketball court, putting green, brand new playground, two-lane track and turf field - all safely tucked inside the gates of EDS. Students are encouraged to enjoy the out of doors and to discover the world around them through active play and cooperation.

At Episcopal Day School, students in kindergarten through 8th Grade are offered the opportunity to participate in many athletic teams as well as after school clubs, like Drama and Robotics. Over 75% of our students participate in one or more of the following: Robojags, volleyball, cheerleading, flag football, tackle football, basketball, track and field, tennis, soccer, arts/theatre/drama, Spanish Club and yearbook.

Downtown Pensacola is our classroom. EDS is located blocks from the Pensacola MESS Hall, The Saenger Theater, The Pensacola Museum of Art, The Little Theater, and the Pensacola Historic Village. Learning comes to life in downtown Pensacola.

You create and innovate!

EDS boasts innovative spaces providing students with cutting edge tools to solve real world problems. Innovation requires not only tools but critical thinking skills and teamwork! Students are tasked with creating, designing and implementing solutions using MacBooks, Chromebooks, iPads, 3-D scanners and printers, and clear touch interactive boards as well as hammers and nails!

You serve with joy!

At EDS, we value and actively participate in service learning opportunities throughout our community. Our servant leaders coordinate and orchestrate meaningful outreach to others ranging from working in the Community Garden, to building a Little Library, to filling the Mayflower in support of Manna Food Bank's efforts to feed families in need. Two hands and a heart - we will change the world!

At Episcopal Day School, everyday for our students is enhanced with classes like Art, Music, Spanish, Physical Education, Library, Innovation, and Christian Education. With exposure to these specialty areas, comes opportunity and passion. Every student has the chance to shine!

You learn beyond the classroom!

At EDS, we provide opportunities beyond the traditional school day including summer camps, before-school care, after-school care, afterschool classes and clubs, and school-year camps. Students can enjoy after-school activities with their teachers and friends while parents can rest easy knowing that their children are happy and fulfilled! EDS operates from 7:00am - 5:30pm nearly every day of the year.

When you tour EDS and ask students their favorite things about school, they will all loudly and proudly tell you, "My teachers and my friends"! EDS is about relationships. We want to know your child so that we can help them to be the best student and person they can be while appreciating and cultivating all of their gifts and talents. Teachers and students work together to make EDS the BEST!

The Episcopal Day School environment encourages each student to learn and grow. Students learn about themselves, their community, and their world as they journey from preschool to 8th Grade. Students experience growth through play and interaction with others which makes learning FUN! And each student, whether they be an athlete, scholar, artist, or innovation expert, knows they are appreciated and welcome at EDS. It is exciting to be a part of the EDS family, a place we proudly call home.
