HOW DO MACHINES SEE? An interactive, visual exhibit where visitors can learn about the part of computer "vision" and "detection" systems that is usually hidden.

HERITAGE ROOM Pieces of scientific and technological heritage that form part of the Museum’s collections. SMALL THINGS UP CLOSE A journey through the history of the microscope from the 17th to the 20th century. FASCINATION The history of film and photography: zoetropes, praxinoscopes and other "pre-cinema toys", photography techniques and the cinematograph. A STITCH IN TIME SAVES NINE A small part of the history of medicine, especially following the 19th century. TECHNO-EVOLUTION A series of devices that explain the evolution that sound and image transmission has undergone.

HOME, SWEET HOME Televisions, radio-cassette players, telephones, fans, irons, dryers, records and toys redefined how we use our homes through utility and leisure. SPANISH INNOVATION This space encourages visitors to learn about the activities of Spanish researchers and inventors. WHEELS The first bicycles and velocipedes from the late 19th century, automobiles, motorcycles and a fire engine.

TEMPORARY EXHIBIT The MUNCYT has a specific area for temporary exhibitions located on the ground floor. Since the Museum was inaugurated in December 2014, this area has accommodated the following exhibitions: "Biotechnology. Quality of life", "Experiment 2100", "Wheels & cranks","FOTCIENCIA13". In 2018 this area hosts the exhibition "Moto Universe".

F-LAB An interactive space inspired by the four fundamental forces of nature. In a circular room, similar to a particle accelerator, participants will explore the different phenomena related to each force.

SPACE AND TIME In this section you can find the most relevant historical pieces at the MUNCYT. The majority are measuring instruments such as astrolabes, clocks, theodolites, etc.

FOR THE LITTLE ONES NANOSPACE [3-5 years old] An area to experiment focusing on the senses. NANOPLANETARIUM [3-8 years old] Specially designed to arouse curiosity about the world of astronomy. MICROSPACE [3-8 years old] A space especially for children where they can conduct experiments in 4 large subject areas: matter, mechanics, light and communication.

LABORATORY Instruments from physics and chemistry labs that formed around the mid 19th century from the different scientific disciplines: sound, heat, electromagnetism, optics, etc. Visitors can interact with over 60 modules in the interactive zone.

WORKSHOP ROOMS Three spaces set up for experiment workshops for all ages. PLANETARIUM For all ages. The Planetarium offers total immersion into astronomical environments with an advanced astronomical simulation and audiovisual system. AUDITORIUM A multi-purpose area for conferences, meetings, congresses and special events.
