Edison High School is a private high school dedicated to serving students
with learning differences. We offer individualized support that meets each student’s unique needs and maximizes their ability to learn, while providing emotional support that builds confidence and maturity.
What Makes Edison Different? Edison takes a customized approach to learning, providing individual attention in a small, supportive academic environment. Students build strong relationships with faculty who understand their unique learning styles and needs. Beyond academics, Edison helps students develop self-discipline, organizational skills, self-advocacy, and confidence in their ability to learn.

Edison shares a campus with Jesuit High School, and for more than 50 years, the schools have collaborated to personalize learning experiences for students across both campuses. Students from both schools take classes on the other campus and are encouraged to participate together in Jesuit athletics, theatre, faith, dances, and other co-curricular activities.
History Founded in 1973 as The Tree of Learning, Edison became Thomas A. Edison High School in 1992 and has proudly been known as Edison High School since 2014. Edison is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive community where every student is respected, supported, and valued. We celebrate the diversity of our community, foster respectful dialogue and appreciation for others, and prepare students to thrive both at Edison and in the world beyond.

Edison students looking for extra rigor in their schedule can register for up to three classes at Jesuit High School, and Jesuit students needing additional support can do the same at Edison. Our partnership with JHS allows every student to invest in their learning experience and forge their own path.
Access to Jesuit High School's Athletics and Co-curricular Programs Through our relationship with JHS, students may take advantage of their expansive sports, faith, and extracurricular offerings including their renowned theatre program.

Jesuit High School Partnership With our partners at Jesuit High School, our hybrid program allows Edison students the opportunity to participate in Jesuit’s co-curriculars and campus ministry.
Athletics Jesuit athletics are an opportunity for students to enjoy themselves through challenging activities while gaining self-confidence and building lasting friendships.
Co-Curriculars From retreats to games, class projects to club activities, Jesuit is full of opportunities to build relationships. Jesuit has co-curriculars for every student.
Arts Whether its music, visual arts, or Jesuit’s renowned theatre program, students learn new forms of selfexpression and ways to communicate.
Campus Ministry Students enrolled in theology classes at Jesuit are welcome to participate in their masses and spiritual retreats.

Orton-Gillingham Dyslexia Tutoring Helping students overcome reading challenges through targeted weekly intervention At Edison, eligible students receive individual or small group instruction from certified tutors during the school day. This instruction promotes meaningful gains in reading skills that open doors to greater academic confidence and long-term success.
