1st Annual Salsa Tasting Contest ✓ Have you donated to the Education Foundation yet? ✓ Are you planning to attend the “Thank You” Salsa Night on Friday, December 1st from 5:30pm – 8:00pm? ✓ Do you have a favorite salsa recipe you’d like to make and enter in the Salsa Contest?

▪ If you answered “yes” to all of the above, please bring your favorite salsa recipe already made and enough to share with 20 people by 6:30pm to enter into the contest.

▪ Salsa will be judged based on taste, appearance and overall impression.

▪ There will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Healthy Serving Ideas- Broccoli:  

Eat chopped in salads, soups, stir fry, sautéed, baked into casseroles, boiled, steamed, or eat as is. Steam your broccoli for a bigger nutritional punch.

Talk with your child about fruits and vegetables that are in season. Find a recipe and make it together.


