“Tears are words the heart can’t express.”
Have you ever felt so overcome by emotion that you were absolutely speechless? It might have been a joyful occasion or a sad one, a total surprise or a sudden shock that left you without words. But you probably regained your capacity for speech quickly.
Sometimes, however, there are no words that can ever capture the emotion that you feel. There is no way to express yourself except through tears. Tears capture the rawest of emotions and make them a verbal expression.
If you find yourself at a loss for words and tears flowing down your face, don’t apologize. Whether you cry for your own loss or the tragedy of another, tears speak the language of the heart.
