We want to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible support and kindness we have been shown in the wake of the July 10th tornado that struck our property at 9106 Sission Highway. is disaster has been an overwhelming experience for us, but the way our community has rallied around us has been nothing short of extraordinary.
From the moment the tornado struck, we were met with an outpouring of help that we will never forget from family, friends, friends of friends, businesses, churches, neighbors, co-workers, the town, and people we don't even know.
e truly amazing thing is we did not call or ask anyone. ey just showed up, donated, dropped o essentials, dropped o and donated equipment to use without hesitation. Weather it was through donating essentials, o ering a comforting word or simply being there for us, each act of kindness made a world of di erence. Your generosity has not only helped us rebuild our lives but has also given us hope and strength to move forward.
ere is a lot of good le in the world and the July 10th tornado shook it loose. We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a compassionate and caring community. e support we have received has shown us that even in the face of adversity, we are never alone. It is in moments like these that the true spirit of community shines brightest and we are so grateful to have experienced it rsthand.
Please know that your kindness will never be forgotten. ank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for standing with us during this time.
anks to all, Jim, Colleen, Jess, Corey, Jenn, Zach, Olivia and Lyndy “ e Blaze Family”

Now available in a wide varierty of styles and colors and it can be install over the existing asphalt roof!
Millions of pounds of asphalt shingles are dumped in landfills across the country. Metal roofing is often composed partially of recycled metals.
If ice problems exit it’s easier to add additional insulation to a metal roof than it is a comparable asphalt roof.

Recently the Eden Town Board issued a proclamation honoring Doris Anderson Eden's second town historian. The first was Rev. Howard J. Charles. Doris published a three volumn history of Eden, also Sketches of Eden History commemorating Eden's Sesquicentennial 18121962. Also she was editor of the weekly newspaper, the Eden Minuture. I am sure her son Bill Rennagle was a lot of help. Doris and her husband Harold Bud Anderson are buried in the Eden Evergreen Cemetery, in site of their home at 2910 East Church St. I had the honor of personally knowing Doris, her husband and son.
“Now and then, it’s good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.” --Apollinaire
Do you find yourself dashing from one activity to another trying to find something that you think you’ll enjoy? Do you constantly change things around in your home trying for the “perfect” look? Do you just keep looking for joy in your life and feel that everyone else has things so much better than you do?
Maybe this author was right. Maybe you just need to take a breather, take time off from all the searching and just “be.” You may find that truly you are happy with what you have and where you are in your life. You may find that you have the things you need in abundance, but you’ve been too busy looking for happiness to realize it. It’s good to just hit “pause” every once in awhile as we whirl through this life.
