Edith J. White (Williams), August 26, 2025 of the Cattaraugus Seneca Territory at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife of the late Edmund White Sr. Loving mother of Edmund Jr., Ellen Heron, Elaine (Kevin) Brooks, and Eric (Camille) White. Grandmother and great-grandmother of many.
Sister of Janice Goode, Karen Williams, Arlene Ivett, Marlene Debacco, Barb Maybee, Larry Williams and the late Ken Williams and Skip Goode. Edith was a member of the Turtle Clan. Friends called at the Wentland Funeral Home where services were held.
Bonnie Mae Longbine (nee: Page), age 84, of Eden, New York died Thursday, August 28, 2025. Bonnie was born in Johnstown, PA on August 6, 1941 to the late Oatis and Vera (nee: Govier) Page. Bonnie was the devoted wife of the late Fred W. Longbine, the loving mother of Fred (Darlene) Longbine, Dennis (Cindy) Longbine and Renee Rice (Bruce Jones). Bonnie was the caring grandmother of Fred Longbine (Desiree Moore), Ashley (Robert) Brehm, Cody Longbine, Zak (Rebecca) Rice, Austin (Kaity) Rice, the late Christian Longbine and the great grandmother of nine. Gerald Bruse Neifer,, "Jerry" "Bud" age 94 of Eden, New York died Tuesday, August 26, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born February 7, 1931 in Buffalo, New York to his parents the late William and Joan (nee: Bruse) Neifer. Jerry was a long-time member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was a charter member of the Eden Emergency Squad, and also a volunteer at the Eden North Collins Food Pantry. He was also a member of the American Legion as he served in the United States Air Force. Jerry also was a past Councilman for the Town of Eden. He retired from the Ford Stamping Plant. Jerry is the devoted husband of Bettyann (nee: Smith) Neifer and the late Elaine (nee: Odom) Neifer. Loving father of Michelle (Bill) McLaughlin, Cindy (Dennis) Longbine, Beth (Tom) Gruzska, Stacey (Fred) Drmota and Jennifer (Dan) Carriero. He was the grandfather of Adam (Brittany) Janicki, Alison McKenney, Ashley (Robert) Brehm, Cody Longbine, Jodi Maracle (Caleb Abrams), Eric (Corrine) Drmota, Megan Drmota, Danny, Maddie and Drew Carriero. Great Grandfather of 15. He was the brother of Bill (Peggy) Neifer and the late Donna Ginley, John Neifer and Nancy Jones. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday September 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, Eden.
