BOARD OF ASSESSMENT REVIEW
There is (1) available position on the Board of Assessment Review. Responsibilities of a board member include Assessment Board Member training and attending Grievance Night which is held annually on the fourth Tuesday in May.
PLANNING BOARD
As of January 1, 2026 there will be (3) available positions on the Planning Board (2 of which are alternate positions). Responsibilities of Planning Board members include reviewing site plans, major subdivisions and any matter referred by the Town Board for approval.
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
As of January 1, 2026 there will be (3) available positions on the Zoning Board of Appeals (2 of which are alternate positions). Responsibilities of Zoning Board members include hearing appeals from decisions of the Town under the Zoning Code.

Robert K. Husul, 71, of Hamburg, NY, passed away on August 31, 2025 with his children by his side. He was born on Christmas Day, 1953 in Welland, Ontario to the late Murray and Helen Husul. Pay attention to the quiet things in life because you never know what you might learn or hear that could affect your days.
Sometimes we hear people say in exasperation “oh, just go ahead,” when they can’t make a decision about what to do. They don’t want to wait to hear some quiet word of guidance. But ‘going ahead’ is really an exciting opportunity. Things may not be perfect in this life, but tomorrow may bring an entirely different set of circumstances if we just listen first and then “go ahead.”
We may not find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but we may meet a new friend, discover a new joy, or learn something new about our own abilities if we only learn to listen.
There may always be some cloud looming on the horizon. Accept that it is there, but don’t let it stop you.
