Our individual interests and abilities usually determine the field that we enter as a way to make our living. At some time you may have seen someone performing a task that seems distasteful and wondered how they could continue in that job for years. Work opportunities may be limited for some people because of their location or other factors. But, in most cases, if you love what you do, it’s not “work” despite how demanding it might be either physically or mentally.
As we celebrate Labor Day, we honor people in every line of employment and the dignity of all labor. Work that is well done and performed with skill deserves recognition no matter what the job is. To all workers we say “Happy Labor Day.”
