Memorial service was held at Southtowns Christian Center, 6619 Southwestern Blvd., Hamburg, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, an organization which was extremely beneficial to all the Lembitz sisters’ battle with Pancreatic cancer, would be greatly appreciated. A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER…
“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.”
--John Quincy Adams
This is reminiscent of the old maxim: “actions speak louder than words.” It is what you DO that really counts in this world.
There are many that talk and talk and talk about what they are going to do, but talk is cheap and their actions fail. The person who quietly goes about making things happen without expecting to be recognized is the one we should honor.
They may never really know what a difference they have made to others. They may not know that others have watched their activities and been inspired to go forward with dreams they have held. They would probably not call themselves a “leader” but they deserve that title and the respect of all.
