PENNYSAVER DEADLINE: TUESDAYS

On Sunday June 22, Schoolhouse #8 held its annual Kids Day. The Schoolhouse was open, as it is every Sunday until September from 1-4pm with tours by experienced docents. The amount of historical artifacts is unparalleled. Books, pictures, desks, chairs and so much more. Beyond that on Kids Day there were old fashioned games like hopscotch and drop a clothespin in a bottle. A balloon specialist was also on site to amuse not only the kids but the accompanying adults. If anyone was hungry after all the activities there was free hot dogs, chips and drinks. Many kids were at the library because of an interesting cooking class. The day was sunny and hot, but the Schoolhouse had several kids and their families learn a little bit about the amazing history of North Collins.

ONLY $9.00 for 15 words or less. 25¢ additional words. Call 716-992-4625 or vist our website edenpennysaver.com

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER…

“Loss is life's non-negotiable side. It is the time when we learn, unconditionally, that we are powerless over things we thought we had a grip on. But it doesn't stop there, because every ending brings a new beginning.”

--Stephanie Ericsson

Death, whether sudden or long expected, is something that none of us can escape. We grieve, feel despair and wonder why God has taken our loved one; we are out of step with the world around us. There is a hole in the fabric of our days.

We think that things will never be the same. And they probably won’t. But that is something that can ultimately bring us joy.

As we regain our balance, we may find new understandings, new friends, new ways of looking at the world. Our loved one is gone, but we see things differently because of them.

Grieving is a part of life that few can escape. Just remember that whenever there are endings, there are also new beginnings.
