President's Message

Isaac Briones President What’s up Key Clubbers, I’m Isaac Briones, serving as East Tech Key Club’s president for the 20222023 term! Although it may be the end of the school year it is just the beginning for us Key Clubbers as we begin to explore a new term with amazing opportunities. I am beyond excited to see what our key club and division can accomplish as we are transitioning into this term. This past school year and the term was an amazing experience thanks to our 2021-2022 board and key club members. With that being said I hope to do the same for all existing and new members joining East Tech’s Key Club next school year! Serving as your new president allows me to bring in new ideas like socials, more fundraising opportunities, in-person community service events, and other amazing ideas we have in stock for you to come to life! I look up to my past Key Club boards as they've handled and maintained their officer responsibilities while also having fun in the process, which gives me the drive to do the same and go beyond fulfilling my expected duties. Words can not express how excited I am for this amazing journey I’m beginning, and I would like to thank every one of you that has been there for me and will be there for me in this new term. Titans and all Key Clubbers, Let’s make this term a memorable one!

Hey!! This month has been super hectic, but I’m glad the school year is coming to an end on a good note. The Key Mart was super successful and as one of the people that ran the festival, I’d love to thank ECTA Key Club for making everything run smoothly. Shoutout to our VP of membership, Charlette, for her hardwork in running it also! I seriously cannot wait to see what everyone accomplishes next year as more opportunities are available to us.

Elect Board’s GOALS Isaac Briones President Hello Key Clubbers, as president of East Tech’s key club I have created several main goals for this year's term as it’s difficult to just have one. One of my several goals is to maintain and balance all of my responsibilities as a president but to also make connections with the board and our members along the way. Along with this, I hope to show not just everyone at our school but from other schools that our Key Club is superior having an enormous amount of passion and spirit towards everything we do. As I can think of many goals I have made for myself the main one is to ensure every one of my Key Club members and board members has a smooth and amazing experience. I will do this by going above my duties and responsibilities to make sure everything is running smoothly and to have everything like service events and fundraisers to be prepared way in advance. With that being said, let’s show everyone what we’re capable of titans!

Charlette Cameron Vice President of Service

one of my goals this term is engaging more members with service! now that some restrictions are being lifted, i want to provide more interesting in-person events like collaborating with other key clubs in and out of our division, and and as well as virtual events for our members! i’d also want to establish a connection within my board and also the current and upcoming members this term.

Elect Board’s GOALS Charisse Cubangbang Vice President of Membership

My main goal for this this term is to ensure that every member is actively involved and engaged in club activities! I want to serve as a source of motivation so that members are excited to be a part of the close bond we have as a club. By interacting with more people I hope they are encouraged to stay until the end. With these efforts, I hope that we see a growth in event participation 💙

Vianney Delgado Secretary

My main goal for this term is to accurately represent what our club does to the rest of the division. By filling our MRFs on deadlines and showing all the great stuff that we do. If it’s service events, fundraisers, or fun activities. As secretary I want to be able to show case all that our club does!

Elect Board’s GOALS Rozeth Galacgac Treasurer

As there were a lot of restrictions last term that limited the things we could do to fund for our club, I want to use my term to make up for that. My goal is to raise our club funds and make as much fundraisers as possible happen. In other areas other than the role of Treasurer, I aim to communicate better with the board because I understand the importance of reaching out to everyone if I ever need help.

Alison Ploom Webmaster

As webmaster, my main goal for this term is to capture the fun times that we experience as a club, and making infographics that excites both members and non-members. I also want to create a fun and welcoming environment for all of the members and the board! Lastly, I want to grow as leader and enhance my leadership skills!

Elect Board’s GOALS Marianne Ocampo SAA

My main goal for this term is to help the board and other Key Club members serve our community and make it a better place!

Alexis Pamintuan SAA

For this year's term, my main goal is to mainly work on my weaknesses & improving Key Club as not just a club but a community itself. I want to help gain members and keep the spirit of Key Club alive. I really want to improve on being able to work on my communication & team working skills as much as possible!!

Elect Board’s GOALS Maria Ramirez SAA

My goal for this year's term is to be able to build a comfortable atmosphere in the club so we are all able to keep an open mind and open communication. By doing so, not only do we make our community as a board greater, but allow for a greater integration with our other key club members!

Jacqueline Romo SAA

I would say that my goal is to build a strong connection with not only the board but also with the members and to build my leadership throught this experience!

KEY MART ECTA Key Club participated in the AAPI Heritage Festival on May 3, 2022 with Key Mart Cart selling classic Asian snacks.

We could not be more grateful to all the people that came out and supported Key Mart! We now have enough funds to cover the elect board’s memberships for next year! We cannot wait to see everyone‘s faces again next school year.
