PRESIDENT’S PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE MESSAGE

“Hello Key Clubbers! I hope everyone is doing well and is enjoying their December. Tuning into this newsletter, I hope all of you enjoy it as we’re so proud of what we’ve accomplished so far into this term! Our Key Club has been very busy even after our major events, RTC and Fall Rally, as we’ve had a lot of community service events and general ideas planned for our club. Going this far into my term I’ve realized I have such incredible members and board members, and I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish everything I’ve done so far without them, so thank you! And going into December, we’ve opened up our interest form to apply for the 20232024 Executive board for East Tech Key Club! As you’re reading this I also hope that each and every one of you has an amazing winter break and do the things you love to do. See you guys in our January newsletter!”

Serving with passion, Isaac Briones

VIANNEY DELGADO, SEC

“Advice I would give to my future secretary successor candidates would be to get organized. Have a planner or some kind of agenda to write down deadlines and notes during board meetings. This will help you stay on top of your responsibilities, which is the golden rule when in the Secretary position. I also advice to be a strong communicator. When filling out the MRF every month you have to communicate with other officers or advisor, and get information from them in order to have the MRF accurately represent what your club did that month.”

JACKIE ROMO, SAA

”To those who want to step up into an officer position I would recommend to stay on top of communication and don't be afraid to give input and suggestions. Also, to focus on what you need to work on and improve as you move along. Overall collaboration is most important and it's what keeps the club running so work hard, work together, and support each other ”

MARIA RAMIREZ, SAA

“I'd definitely encourage anyone who's interested to be proficient with their time management skills! Sometimes managing a high position takes a lot more work than one might expect and it's good to learn how to stay on top of your deadlines and other work!”

ALEXIS PAMINTUAN, SAA

“one tangible item that i keep safe like at all times is my baby blanket LOL, uhmm one reason why it’s so special to me is that like, it’s a family passed on blanket. it was from my cousin, to my brother, and now me. personally it just means a lot to me because it’s been there with me through out my whole life and yeah :)”
