Meet Evie
A girl on a mission to change the world
Evie was diagnosed with Autism at a young age, and animals have always been a high interest topic for her. Today, Evie has become a walking encyclopedia of animal knowledge, and loves learning and sharing all that she can about di erent species of animals. All of our featured designs are focused on animals of Evie's choosing, and she has a lot more animals she plans on adding to our line in the future! Evie has donated over $800 to animal conservation programs, and we have recycled over 12,000 water bottles into our shirts!

Vaquita Porpoise
The Vaquita is the most endangered marine mammal there is. Native to the northern part of the Gulf of Mexico, their decline has been so rapid, experts believe there could be just 10 left in the wild. Vaquita are the smallest of all types of porpoise, around 5 feet in length on avereage, and frequently become tangled in shing nets meant for other types of sea creatures like tuna. Vaquita do not do well in capitivity, so any conservation e orts must happen in its natural habitat, making it much more di cult to help them.

Polar Bear
Polar bears are iconic to the Arctic, and while at the top of the food chain, face many threats today. Polar bears are in Vulnerable status, and their numbers are projected to decline by 30% by the year 2050. As we watch arctic ice vanish before our eyes, polar bears and other animals that rely on the ice as part of their land area will be forced into much smaller land masses, or be pushed into human-dwelling areas.

Flamingos
have been protected since 1918 under the Migratory Bird Act, but that doesn't eliminate all threats including changes to their habits as well as human and environmental changes. Our pink friends get thier gorgeous color from the food they eat (while upside down!). In fabulous amingo fashion, a group of amingos is called a amboyance!

Snow
Leopard The Snow Leopard's big build and massive leaping power come in handy for navigating the mountainous regions they live in. Not only do they use their tail to help them keep their balance on steep mountainsides, but they snuggle with their tail at night to keep them warm! Snow leopards are in Vulnerable status, and hunting by humans and habitat loss are causing their numbers to decrease. 4,000 tigers left in the wild across all 6 remaining subspecies, with 3 subspecies already extinct- the Javan tiger, the Bali Tiger, and Caspian tiger.

Monarch
Butterfly Monarch Butter ies are amazing creatures, and yet their numbers continue to decrease because of climate change and habitat loss. Monarchs migrate from as far north as parts of Canada and all throughout the US all the way to Mexico every year, pollinating along the way. Sea Turtle
Sea Turtles are much loved by animal enthustiasts everywhere, and they need our help now more than ever. Our shirt design has 7 turtles on it, representing the 7 species of sea turtle- Loggerhead, Leatherback, Kemp's Ridley, Olive Ridley, Green, Hawksbill, and Flatback. Although these species live in all around the world, there are common threats that are endangering them- plastic pollution, accidental catching, climate change, and poaching. Axolotl
Axolotls (ACK-suh-LAH-tuhl) are paedomorphic salamanders native to Lake Xochimilco in Mexico City. Axolotls are most closely related to tiger salamanders, except that they maintain a permanent youth in that they never complete metamorphosis. Their adorable frills that frame their face are their gills, which most salamanders shed when they transition to land. Axolotls have lungs too, and can breathe through their skin!

Amur Leopard
Don't get caught stuck in a tree without your Amur Leopard hooded shirt, this cat is an excellent climber. Amur Leopards are the world's rarest cat species, and are critically endangered with less than 100 left in the wild. Black Rhinoceros
Bring out your tough side in our Black Rhinoceros hooded shirt. Rhino numbers are on the rise from its lowest point 20 years ago, proving conservation e orts work. Still, the Black Rhino remains in critically endangered status, with just over 5,000 animals in the wild today, and remains a target of poaching for its horns.

This phrase "Save our Future" speaks volumes to our intentions with Eco Evie Apparel. We want to inspire change and unite families across generations to create a better, greener, cleaner planet for us all. And the only way we can do this is together, all of us, working to save our future!
This design is in collaboration with super talented, Wisconsin- based artist, Jackie Ghazazadeh Pultz.
Jackie is an experienced fashion designer and has worked for several corporate companies before branching out in her own freelance work. Jackie has an eye for graphics, and when we talked about doing a collaboration together, it made for a great t!
Jackie so thoughtfully created our latest Eco Evie design- Save Our Future- and we couldn't be more excited about it. We are excited to share this inspiring message with people and hope to move generations, young and old, to come together for a better future for our Earth, our animals, and each other.

Jackie is a Freelance Graphic Artist and Designer based in Sturgeon Bay, WI. When she isn’t focused on client work, you can nd her with her family exploring all the beauty Door County has to o er. As a lover of the outdoors, Jackie knows the importance of sustainability and how eco-friendly fashion choices can make a larger impact. She was immediately drawn to Eco Evie’s mission to promote the world’s well-being, making clothing entirely from recycled water bottles.
