girl on a mission to change the world
Evie was diagnosed with Autism at a young age, and animals have always been a high interest topic for her. Today, Evie has become a walking encyclopedia of animal knowledge, and loves learning and sharing all that she can about di erent species of animals. All of our featured designs are focused on animals of Evie's choosing, and she has a lot more animals she plans on adding to our line in the future! Evie has donated over $2900 to animal conservation programs, and we have recycled over 50,000 water bottles into our shirts!

Sea Stars
Sea stars are beautiful and amazing, and yet the incredibly rapid decline of them in the coastal Paci c is bringing more attention to these fascinating creatures. With no brain, no blood, and up to a 35 year lifespan, sea stars are vital to the ocean ecosystem and even keep other species' populations in check, like sea urchins, which is a food source for the Critically Endangered Sun ower sea star.

Fireflies
Fire ies are unfortunately vanishing into thin air. Their lights have been no match for the light pollution we create every day and every night, and with their lights being the main form of communication to each other, they cannot nd each other, cannot reproduce, and cannot carryon for another generation. We want to share this little-known issue with everyone, that re ies are important and we can do something to help them! Turn o outdoor lights on your house at night, and let our re y friends glow on!

Orcas
Orcas are actually dolphins, and are pod animals that inhabit every ocean on earth. They stay in their pack, and are even recognized by the area of the ocean they live in. The Southern Resident killer whale population is extremely endangered, and there are less than 100 that comprise that pod. These orcas live around the Puget sound, and are facing starvation from the lack of salmon coming down the Snake river and out into the ocean.

Polar Bear
Polar bears are iconic to the Arctic, and while at the top of the food chain, face many threats today. Polar bears are in Vulnerable status, and their numbers are projected to decline by 30% by the year 2050. As we watch arctic ice vanish before our eyes, polar bears and other animals that rely on the ice as part of their land area will be forced into much smaller land masses, or be pushed into human-dwelling areas.

Flamingo
Flamingos have been protected since 1918 under the Migratory Bird Act, but that doesn't eliminate all threats including changes to their habits as well as human and environmental changes. Our pink friends get thier gorgeous color from the food they eat (while upside down!). In fabulous amingo fashion, a group of amingos is called a amboyance!

Sea Turtles are much loved by animal enthustiasts everywhere, and they need our help now more than ever. Our shirt design has 7 turtles on it, representing the 7 species of sea turtle- Loggerhead, Leatherback, Kemp's Ridley, Olive Ridley, Green, Hawksbill, and Flatback. Although these species live in all around the world, there are common threats that are endangering them- plastic pollution, accidental catching, climate change, and poaching.

Monarch Butterfly
Monarch Butter ies are amazing creatures, and yet their numbers continue to decrease because of climate change and habitat loss. Monarchs migrate from as far north as parts of Canada and all throughout the US all the way to Mexico every year, pollinating along the way.

Giraffe
Gira e numbers have been silently decreasing for years due to poaching and habitat loss, and their native area has shrunk so signi cantly they are extinct from 7 African countries already. There are several species of gira e, but on the whole, they are listed in Vulnerable status.
Gira e obviously get the award for being the tallest land mammal, and are so tall they have to perform a modi ed version of the splits to be able to drink water from lakes and streams! They have wildly long, dark purple tounges perfect for plucking leaves o trees all day without getting a sunburn! And their spots, unique to each indiviual, act as a way to dispel heat from their bodies so they can stay cool.

Frog
There are over 5,000 known species of frogs on every continent but Antarctica, and nearly 1/3 of them are threatened or extinct. Frogs are essential to a healthy ecosystem, and are an indicator species- their presence literally indicates the health of the ecosystem. That's why preserving their home now is more important than ever!

Tiger's stripes are unique to each individual, and their stripes even carry over on to their skin! Tiger numbers are rising again, but they are not out of the woods just yet. There are currently less than 4,000 tigers left in the wild across all 6 remaining subspecies, with 3 subspecies already extinctthe Javan tiger, the Bali Tiger, and Caspian tiger.
Axolotl
Axolotls (ACK-suh-LAH-tuhl) are paedomorphic salamanders native to Lake Xochimilco in Mexico City. Axolotls maintain a permanent youth in that they never complete metamorphosis. Their adorable frills that frame their face are their gills, which most salamanders shed when they transition to land.
