Group Statement

The Studio 204 PR team is thrilled to announce our upcoming event, the class of 2024 launch night, scheduled to take place on Friday 26th July at Storyhouse. This event marks an exciting opportunity to bring together industry, students, alumni and mentors for an evening of networking and celebration of the class of 24.

We believe that the launch night will serve as a platform for fostering new connections and sparking innovative ideas. Our commitment to excellence ensures that guests will feel comfortable and welcomed. Every detail, is meticulously planned to deliver a memorable experience. What is PR?

PR stands for Public Relations. Essentially our role in the event organisation and execution is to make sure that the public and industry have a positive impression of Studio 204. A lot of what we will be doing is public facing and ensuring that the people and brands which we contact are happy with everything for the event and are well informed about what is happening and who we are. We need to continue Studio 204’s good reputation and ensure that this does not drop.

Put together gift bags- create a budget, order relevant items and liaise with other teams to make sure the zine and postcards are printed and arrive on time to be included

Database- I aim put together a database of current students and alumni, their contact details and what they are up to Industry Contacts- contacting relevant members from industry and inviting them to the event

Invites- distribution of ‘save the dates’, ‘formal invites’ and ‘reminders’ Schools and colleges- inviting potential future students and emailing teachers/ delivering posters

Good Afternoon,

I am contacting you on behalf of "Studio 204", the Fashion Communication and Marketing (social media) course at The University of Chester.

We are excited to be hosting a launch night event on Friday 26th July. This event is a celebration of the first graduating year of the course, where we will be showcasing our creations and journey during the course.

We would love if BRAND would be able to help in supporting/sponsoring our event in any means possible. For an idea of what we would possibly be looking would be special voucher/discount codes, samples etc., or any further suggestions of what you would be able to contribute.

We believe that BRAND would be a perfect fit in supporting our even being ............................

In return, we would feature BRAND throughout our event, including in our Studio 204 Zine, a display at the event, across our social media platforms and in our gift bags. We are also happy to negotiate any further requirements from you in return for the sponsorship.

Liaising With Other Teams

Throughout my responsibilities I have been communicating with the Zine and Class Of Team. I have had to make sure that they have the branding of the sponsor for the Zine and for any social media posts promoting our sponsors. I also needed to use images made to send out alongside the press release.

We have a CONFIRMED guest list of 75+ We had a good marketing plan and followed this. We succesfully sourced sponsorship. We have made gift bags for people to take with them on the night. A representative from The Cheshire Magazine is attending. We have kept our professionalism throughout
