Graham is an internationally respected culinary and television personality, awardwinning author, and master of metaphorical speaking.

Arriving from New York in 2007, Dale has achieved a life time dream by opening his brand new restaurant in Vancouver: Ensemble.

His focus is on serving people who want to make healthy, creative, lifestyle changes. His life goal is “to help to convert habits that harm into resources that heal both for ourselves and others in need.” From January 1996 through April 2000, Graham was an Editor at Large for Cooking Light, the world’s most widely circulated Epicurean magazine with a readership of 5.7 million.

Dale earned the coveted Grand Chef Relais & Chateaux status – the youngest of just 160 Grand Chefs on five continents when the honour was bestowed. At an early age, Dale was hand-picked by Chef Gordon Ramsay to work at Claridge’s in London, then at the three-Michelin-starr Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London and later at the Conrad Tokyo Hotel.

Chef Connie DeSousa is Co-Executive Chef and Co-Owner of CHARCUT Roast House in Calgary, recently named by enRoute Magazine as one of Canada’s Best New Restaurants in 2010.

Cactus Club Restaurants Host of New Classics With Chef Rob Feenie on Food Network Canada Cactus Club’s culinary vision is led by Vancouver’s Iron Chef Champion, Rob Feenie. Chef Feenie is part of the Cactus Club Test Kitchen, where he permanently resides as Food Concept Architect. From France to North America, Chef Feenie is revered for his mastery of French cuisine. Vancouverites affectionately refer to him as “Our Iron Chef”.

Connie began her culinary career after earning a Le Cordon Bleu Paris certificate in Ottawa and graduating on the Dean’s List with honours from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology Culinary program. She competed for Alberta in the 2004 World Culinary Olympics

Raised in Barbados, Paul Yellin is a highly acclaimed chef and author of the popular rum cookbook, Infusion! Spirited Cooking with Paul Yellin. A fixture among Caribbean culinary professionals, he has been busy for the last few years traveling and working in metropolitan areas and hotspots of the world including opening restaurants in Berlin, New York, Barbados & Jamaica Chef Paul has made a name for himself as The Rhum Chef - the corporate chef for Mount Gay Rum.

Winning the Kulinarya: the 1st Filipino Culinary Showdown in San Francisco pushed him to strive harder in promoting the emerging trend and elevating the level and standard of Filipino Cuisine to mainstream.

More than 500 Canadian, American and world chefs will gather for the 48th annual National Chefs Conference, June 12 - 15, 2011 in Vancouver. Hosted by the Canadian Culinary Federation Culinaire Canadienne (CCFCC) and the BC Chefs’ Association, the conference offers chefs, culinarians and guests from across Canada the opportunity to learn from industry leaders, compete in culinary challenges, and taste the best of British Columbia and Canadian cuisine.

Fraser Valley on Sept 16-18, 2011 where 17 chefs from British Columbia will compete for the title in a head-to-head heated competition witnessed by an inquisitive audience.

Black box cooking competitions are considered the most challenging of culinary competitions because the food content of the boxes is not revealed prior to the event

Grow Your own Seminars Dean McClernon is Chef/owner of Four Willows Catering in Vancouver and has been serving the lower mainland since 2001. Previous to that he had “Heritage Park on the River” restaurant in Mission, B.C. Dean has catered for Michael Flatly, David Carradine and Michael Buble and was personal chef for Antonio Banderas. He has also worked with food network stars, Bob Dean Mclernon Blumer, Anna Olsen, Laura presenting on stage for Calder, Chuck Hughes, Lynn Spectrum Naturals Crawford, David Rocco and Ricardo. Dean is a certified “Chef de Cuisine” and is launching his first cook book “The Living Fridge” this fall

There’s still plenty of time to Grow Your Own this season. Scott Pearce has put together a series of interesting seminars for EAT! Vancouver. Scott, plant buyer at GardenWorks, earned a diploma in Landscape Horticulture from B.C.I.T. and has 30 years of experience working in the horticulture industry. Scott prides himself especially on his basil growing prowess. Daenna has become the go to person for on-line wine knowledge. She lives in Vancouver where she works as a wine educator. She is an accredited sommelier who thrives on educating the public with her deviously inspirational and humorous approach to wine, hoping to share her knowledge and increase consumer consumption while decreasing wine snobbery

Cheryl Wilson joined the team on a regular basis in Spring 2009. She is the Just Here For The Beer class activities coordinator and also specializes in the local craft brewing industry and lambic beers. Cheryl is always visible at the festivals and private events as a beer expert and host.
