OUR HISTORY
What began as a small agricultural construction company, has grown into Western Canada’s largest and most trusted name in precast concrete construction.
At the turn of the millennium, Dan Haan embarked on an adventure that would change the building industry forever. Dan understood the high maintenance costs of conventional structures and dared to find a better solution. Taking a leap of faith, he started a construction company with a vision to offer superior agricultural buildings constructed from concrete.
At first, our precast was manufactured on-site using mobile casting beds rather than in a manufacturing facility. In 2002 we leased a 10,000 SQ FT building for manufacturing precast concrete panels.
Shortly after moving into their new manufacturing facility, Dan passed away. Barely old enough to vote, these young kids stepped up to the plate to run their dad’s company and continue his vision. Calling every contact available to them, they started to build the business one project at a time.
As production continued in the 10,000 SQ FT manufacturing facility, word spread of the young company.
Eagle Builders was constructing quality concrete structures with service that went beyond expectations.
Since 2002 we have hit a variety of exciting milestones, and we look forward to many more to come.
Our dedication to our people, our community, our quality and our services has been the driving force behind the rapid growth and success you see today.

AGRICULTURAL PROJECTS

AGRICULTURAL EXPERIENCE

Understanding the challenging journey that brought Eagle Builders to where it stands today, those familiar with the company’s history recognize the vital role played by farmers. Initially, it was the agricultural industry that supported and believed in the three young families striving to maintain a construction company. Without the unwavering support of farmers, Eagle Builders would not have weathered the tough challenges encountered during its inception.
The dedication of Eagle Builders to farmers is absolute, as the agricultural industry is often overlooked despite being the backbone of our economy and everyday lives. Even as Eagle Builders expands and ventures into new markets, it will never deviate from supporting those who have supported it. The company’s gratitude towards dairy, poultry, hog, and horse farmers is immeasurable, which is why it gives back annually to agricultural programs, learning centers, and events.
The agricultural industry will always remain a foundational core of Eagle Builders, ensuring that the company will continue to build and support the farmers that made its success possible.

The Van Velsen dairy farm in central Alberta is a 240 cow operation. After learning the benefits of precast concrete and experiencing the construction process from one of their previous projects with Eagle Builders, they confidently chose to work with Eagle again to build their new robotic milking facility. As all dairy barns are unique in their design, Eagle Builders worked closely with the client to base the design around cow flow and ventilation as well as convenient accessibility to equipment. The barn was equipped with a dual ventilation system, automatic alley scrappers, epoxy coated feed bunkers, overhead sunshine doors for natural lighting, and galvanized steel gating. Despite lost time due to weather challenges, the build remained on track with manpower and exceptional organization.

AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS
Agricultural facilities are subjected to some of the toughest working conditions that buildings have to endure. Traditional buildings, exposed to high levels of ammonia and moisture, tend to deteriorate. However, precast concrete structures remain intact in the face of these elements because the concrete is resistant to rust, mold, and fire. At Eagle Builders, our precast concrete products and facilities boast an exceptionally long service life, thanks to our use of proper concrete mix design, engineering, batching, and curing processes. We prioritize continuous innovation and rigorous testing to ensure that every product we manufacture exceeds industry standards and meets our strict quality criteria.

DAIRY BARNS
Eagle Builders offers custom-designed precast concrete dairy barns that can be engineered, manufactured, and constructed to meet specific requirements. Their dairy facilities are known for quality, durability, and innovation, and can accommodate various milking systems. Because the structures are made of concrete, they can withstand harsh environments and are noncombustible, potentially reducing insurance premiums. The level of involvement can be flexible, and the facilities can be easily expanded as needed.
Benefits of precast concrete barns:

Fast construction time
Fire resistant
Will not deteriorate or rust
Designed to be easily expanded to meet quota
Custom designs for any milking system
Aesthetically pleasing
Thermally efficient, less energy to heat
Easy to clean
Minimal maintenance
Lasts for generations
Eagle Builders constructs all types of poultry barns, including layer, broiler, and pullet barns, with a focus on quality and innovation. We have extensive experience collaborating with industry leaders to enhance the industry, and our barns require minimal maintenance and can be expanded as necessary. We recognize the challenges the industry faces, such as ventilation, thermal efficiency, and durability, and have developed proprietary solutions to prevent future issues during the design stage. Our barns are a long-term investment that will serve your operation for generations.

POULTRY BARNS
HORSE BARNS
Eagle Builders is an experienced designmanufacture-build contractor for horse barns and riding arenas, utilizing precast concrete for greater thermal efficiency, design flexibility, and durability compared to traditional building systems. Their precast concrete structures have high thermal mass and R-value, reducing temperature fluctuations and energy usage for a more comfortable and costeffective interior space. The strategic fenestration systems provide natural light and ventilation, enhancing the living quality for horses.
Precast concrete horse barns and riding arenas can include:

Various size horse stalls
Bathing and grooming area
Tack Room
Feed Room
Cleaning Storage
Office Space
Eagle Builders offers precast concrete cattle and hog slats that provide a comfortable walking surface for animals and aid in manure management. The slats come in standard thicknesses but can be engineered and prestressed to meet specific needs. They are made with high-performance concrete for durability and low maintenance. The slats have chamfered edges and a non-slip finish to prevent injury to animals’ feet.

CATTLE SLATS
SLURRY STORAGE
Typically, slurry storage structures were constructed using steel, but rusting over time has been a problem. Eagle Builders has addressed this issue by creating a containment structure entirely made of concrete. Their precast slurry storage is an affordable new option that can hold over three million gallons of waste and has an effective drainage system. Compared to traditional materials, precast concrete has a longer lifespan and is a practical choice for managing manure.

Eagle Builders produces costeffective precast concrete silage bunkers of all sizes with designs that allow for easy expansion.

SILAGE BUNKERS
Eagle Builders offers silage bunkers that are adaptable to meet specific requirements, including standard heights and designs, and can accommodate any size. Our silage bunkers provide a quick and durable solution for silage storage, and are a costeffective option compared to traditional cast-inplace structures. Custom components such as walkways are also available to meet individual needs.
