I am excited to welcome you to E-ACT North Birmingham Academy. I am privileged to lead a team of dedicated staff who are committed to providing an inspirational learning environment, where every individual can thrive and access a high-quality education.
Our goal is to ensure that our students achieve academically as we nurture their personal growth and development. We have created an environment that encourages every individual to dream big, set ambitious goals, and achieve beyond their expectations.
Our students have access to a broad and balanced curriculum alongside extracurricular activities, designed to maximise student engagement and progress.
Through our dedicated staff, state-of-the-art facilities, and strong community partnerships, we equip our students with the skills, knowledge and values needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.

OUR E-ACT FAMILY
We are proud to be one of 28 E-ACT academies in England.
Our community includes over 18,000 pupils and 2,300 teachers and non-teaching professionals across the country.
As an E-ACT academy we share ideas with other academies in the trust in ways other schools may not be able to. Our pupils and staff also feel part of something much bigger.
We have a great partnership with our family academies E-ACT Heartlands and E-ACT Shenley who are a short distance away.

Our personalised curriculum includes a wide variety of opportunities to both reflect students’ identities and broaden their world view.
We aim to develop our students’ communication skills throughout all lessons and for them to be proud of their achievements, whether they are in the academic field, sporting arena or on the stage.

At E-ACT North Birmingham Academy student leadership plays a vital role with initiatives such as Sixth Form mentors for reading, a Head Boy and Head Girl and prefect system, as well as safeguarding ambassadors. Our student leaders develop the confidence and skills to prepare them for key roles in society.

I love my lessons at NBA. I really like my library lessons and the teacher reads with us too.
We are proud to work with different associations to help develop our students personal skills and experiences. We value learning outside the curriculum, through educational visits and our co-curriculum clubs.
We have a partnership with the YMCA youth charity that supports vulnerable young people who are impacted or play an active role in in caring for an immediate or close family member.
Aston Villa Football Club supports with mentoring our students through their emotional and social development, alongside equipping them with skills, values and knowledge for their future aspirations.
We have a partnership with this community-based project that provides an outreach programme to deliver a platform for young people to discover, express, empower and achieve their potential.

At E-ACT North Birmingham Academy, all staff demonstrate high levels of vigilance, visibility and warmth. E-ACT North Birmingham Academy understands its role in developing young people who can make a lifelong positive contribution to the communities in which they live and work, and for this reason we all have an essential part to play in modelling, encouraging and supporting good behaviour.
