Review of Bridge camera with zoom lenses by a freelance photographer in Dubai As a freelance photographer we also use bridge cameras. These cameras are quite versatile, easy to use and affordable as compared to DSLRs that we have in the market.

Bridge cameras have many of the same functionalities as well as similar manual controls. In addition they also boast of similar auto modes which are easy to use and comparable to DSLRs. For those interested in far photography they even have built in zoom lenses which can cover wide angle to telephoto photography, and as a freelance photographer working in Dubai this functionality come sin quite handy.

You might now be thinking that these bridge cameras a great solution to most of your photography needs, well you are thinking right. This also has another benefit for example if you are a freelance photographer and want to travel light then there is no better alternative than bridge cameras. This is so because you can just use one camera to shoot the

landscape pictures to a very tight subject such as a wildlife photograph. These cameras have amazing range. We love these cameras when we are travelling with tourists as freelance photographer in Dubai.

However as a freelance photographer I would advise you that the bridge cameras wont provide you with DSLR like image quality. This is so as the sensors of the bridge cameras are smaller and are not a match to that of DSLRs and mirrorless cameras. If high-quality is your major concern then probably the bridge cameras are not what you want.

As a freelance photographer in Dubai we have also realized that since the lense of bridge cameras are not removable so you have to depend on the abilities of the lenses that has been provided with the camera. We would also like to add that the lenses in bridge cameras can still handle a wide range of subjects that you might be dealing with.

But then if you look at what you are getting for the price then you would realize that it cant get better than this, this we are telling from our experience as freelance photographer in Dubai. Also if you are moving away or graduating from your point and shoot camera then its better to get a grip of bridge camera than to straightaway jump at a DSLR.
