WELCOME!
It is with great joy and anticipation that we welcome you to the 30th Annual Durango Autumn Arts Festival! For three decades, our festival has been a celebration of creativity and community, showcasing the exceptional talent of artists from near and far.
As you wander down 2nd Ave, you'll encounter a breathtaking array of artwork—from stunning paintings and intricate sculptures to captivating photography, gorgeous jewelry, unique ceramics and more. Each piece tells a story, reflects its creator's passion, and invites you to explore the depths of artistic expression. While our event focuses on the visual arts, we encourage you to immerse yourself fully in the experience. Engage with artists, discover new favorites, and perhaps find that perfect piece that speaks directly to you. Even catch a show in the theatre this weekend! The DAC is here to spark your creativity in every possible way.
We are incredibly grateful for your support and participation in making this event possible year after year.

Your presence here not only supports our talented artists but also enriches our community with the beauty and inspiration of the arts. This event would not be possible without the continued and incredible support of local businesses, sponsors, donors, and volunteers that make this festival truly one of a kind.
As the DAC’s largest annual fundraiser, the Autumn Arts Festival helps to provide scholarships for art and theatre students, our incredible programs for all ages, maintaining the DAC’s 100-year-old building and supporting our incredible staff. Founded in 1966, the Durango Arts Center serves the 4Corners region year-round and celebrates the power of art, arts education, theatre, and community. About The Festival
Celebrating 30 years of presenting fine art and fine craft by makers from around the country, this festival takes place amidst the fall colors on quaint Second Avenue in historic downtown Durango, Colorado.
Organized as a benefit event by and for the Durango Arts Center, the region’s premiere non-profit arts organization serving Durango and the four corners, the festival is ranked one of the top festivals in the country welcoming an estimated 7,000 to 8,000 visitors. Artists and craftspeople report the show is well organized and offers great hospitality and friendly, steady crowds.
Festival patrons are encouraged to enjoy food from the many delicious restaurants downtown and throughout Durango (see our list of sponsors below for some ideas).
