A NEW SCENTSATION Diptyque’s South Coast Plaza boutique will play host to the Parisian Maison’s luxury cleaning goods debut this month. Each product in the La Droguerie collection combines effectiveness with respect for the environment and features subtle fragrances composed by perfumer Olivier Pescheux. The line features a dishwashing liquid, multi-surface cleaner with vinegar, leather-and-wood care lotion, a scented white porcelain oval, odor-removing candles and a dish brush. Chef Tesar credits the waters in front of the resort as his inspiration behind the menu. “All of the fish is indigenous to this ocean so in that sense it will be familiar, but we’ve done things differently with a scrupulous attention to detail,” he explains. “I think our guests will be
pleasantly surprised by the unique perspective we’ve put on classically prepared recipes.
