Course designer and instructor Glenn R Mueller, PHD, has over 48 years of real estate industry experience, including 41 years of research, 100+ published articles in areas of real estate market cycle analysis, as well as expertise in real estate securities analysis (REITs), public and private market investment strategies, real estate capital markets, portfolio, investment and diversification analysis

Real Estate Securities/Syndications/Entrepreneurship

Understand private offerings, securities law, exemptions from registration for accredited investors (Reg D), investor suitability, syndication fundamentals, tax structures, real estate tax considerations and syndicator compensation.

Real Estate Property and Asset Management

Explore the complexities of managing residential (apartment) and commercial (office, industrial, retail) properties. Understand rental markets, leasing techniques, property maintenance and repairs, personnel training, and owner relations

Real Estate Taxation

Federal tax law factors applied to real estate investment and operations Review legal forms of ownership, depreciation, tax basis, exchanges, syndications and real estate securities.

Income Property Investment

Comprehensive analysis of real estate investment decision making. Evaluate equity investment decisions via discounted cash flow analysis Apply risk analysis models and strategic planning concepts, structuring to maximize IRR, while controlling downside risks using practical applications.
