Viscometer Control module – USER MANUAL

Check list prior to Start-Up of the Viscometer Control Module Wear PPE, including safety glass and gloves when connecting solvents to the control module

Viscometer Control Module is connected to the PC using the 78 way communication cable

RS232 cable is also connected to the PC

24VDC power supply is plugged in at rear

Check measuring heads are plugged in to each position

Check filling stations are plugged in to each position

Solvent 1 “cleaning” solvent is plugged in.

Solvent 2 “drying” solvent is plugged in (or optional second cleaning solvent)

Solvent 3 is plugged in if applicable

9

Waste line – position 1 is connected – from the control module to waste bottle 1

Waste line – position 2 is connected – from the control module to waste bottle 2

11

Vac valve breather 1 is connected – from the control module to breather bottle 1

12

Vac valve breather 2 is connected – from the control module to breather bottle 2

13

Waste vessels are empty

14

Vacuum is connected – from the vacuum manifold (located on the vacuum source) to each waste bottle.

15

Vacuum gauges are connected to each waste bottle and are reading a vacuum level below -0.7 bar e.g. 0.8 or lower

16

If applicable – check auto sampler fill lines are connected
