Where solvents are used carefully read the SDS and carry out an appropriate risk assessment. Wear the appropriate PPE.

Solvents for use with Peek or PTFE valves

Cleaning Solvent

The cleaning solvent is typically the dissolving solvent. The VCM can be configured with 1 or 2 cleaning solvents.

Drying solvent

The drying solvent is typically acetone. Other solvents can be used e.g. methanol or Xylene (typically for higher temperature applications).
