DEMORPHING® OPENS UP A NEW DIMENSION OF HUNTING The X JAGD clothing brand follows a unique path. The worldwide patented DEMORPHING® is a camouflage pattern that was developed exclusively on the basis of the hunter‘s core needs - to trick the game‘s physiology of perception and to break the sharp outlines of body and equipment with the purpose of blending them with the background.

Nature has provided wild game with warning functions on several sensory levels. Visual perception is expressed differently in comparison with the human eye. This is why visual camouflage is the important factor for hunting. The breathtaking effect of our DEMORPHING camouflage has an effect on various species. Up to new perceptual research was aware of three dimensions in order

to arrange camouflage patterns: form, colour and space. But the DEMORPHING collection creates the complete dissolution of the hunter. DEMORPHING adds the factors time and motion to the basic components form, colour and shape, and thereby creates the DEMORPHING principle (form dissolution). It is the decisice advantage over the perceptual behaviour of wild game.

THE DEMORPHING® PRINCIPLE The form of the DEMORPHING® designs was created in accordance with the perceptual-physiological aspects: they simulate the natural environment and simultaneously dissolve their surface forms into each other. These „chaotic structures“ adapted to nature blur with their environment.

FORM

COLOUR

DEMORPHING® does not reveal any demarcated coulour zones, so that „blurred“ and „dissolved“ colour areas indistinguishable from their environment are created. We refer to „colour compositions“ which adapt to the respective habitat in an unrivalled manner.

SPACE

MOTION

DEMORPHING® designs function through their visual structure by blurring the hunter‘s motion sequences with the environment of the source of motion. This is a type of slow-motion effect that essentially complicates the localisation of the hunter due to perceptual delay.

TIME DEMORPHING® designs create the 3D simulation and visualisation of natural habitat. This is caused by the broad dispersion of the surface material‘s brightness levels. This dispersion simulates the light irradiation on natural ensembles and facilitates the „dissolution“ of the human contour in its environment.

The factor time occasionally remained unnoticed with camouflage patterns. The DEMORPHING® effect of our DEMORPHING® camouflage is revolutionary because it achieves crucial delays in the reaction behaviour of wild game in proportion to space and motion.

Because of the change of vegetation, different incidence of light and diverse colour spectra, season plays an important role in the choice of DEMORPHING® designs. For example, MOUNTAIN also functions in barren wintry forests in Europe, whereas SAVANNA can achieve the optimal DEMORPHING® effect during the „Indian Summer“ in some regions of the United States.

A clever check of the hunting ground is the next step for the suitable choice. If the hunting ground is in the mountains or in dense forests,MOUNTAIN and WOODLAND are suitable. SAVANNA is indispensable along lakes and river areas as well as in plains and fields. Yet all three designs are to be chosen differently during various times of year changing weather conditions.

MOUNTAIN functions in mountians, stony and rocky landscapes or amidst autumnal and barren tree formations. SAVANNA is particularly suitable for bush and grass savannahs, dry valleys, plains and steppes. WOODLAND is the convincing choice in lush vegetation. SAVANNA The name SAVANNA already says quite a bit about its range of application: dry sand, stone and earth formations, steppes and grasslandes. This applies to nearly all African hunting grounds. But with SAVANNA, the ideal camouflage also opens up a variety of options in parts of Europe, Asia and South America at certain times of year.

PRODUCTION All X JAGD models are designed, developed and firsttime manufactured in Lamprechtshausen, Austria.

The developing process from an idea to a finished model is a long way.Creation of patterns, selection of the perfect fabrics and materials and the functional requirements, which are claimed on a model, have to be created. Here at X JAGD we put the highest standards of quality on ourselves, when it is about our products. After designing a new model on the paper and on the computer, it will be manufactured for the first time in our in-house tailoring. When finished, a long way of quality assurance is ahead of the new product.

This immediate proximity to our manufacturing facility and long-term cooperations with our partner promise a maximum of quality. For us it is important to know our partners personally and know the responsible person by name. Therefore we are visiting our manufacturing plants several times a year to ensure the sustainable and social fair standards of production on site. X JAGD produces profusion-reduced. All overplusses are reclaimed in other models to reduce the level of profusion in our production to a minimum. The immediate proximity to our manufacturing plants enables us to seek for resource-friendly, pollutantreduced and hence sustainable processes and ways of transport to guarantees that all creation of social and economical value stays in Europe.

Every single X JAGD model is submitted to a hard trial by professional hunters and passionate hunters. Only after passing that hard practice a model will leave for a serial production. Our production partners are located in the
