BAHÍA 17 Hole 17 at Bahia reminds me of the 18th at Sawgrass and the 18th at Doral, where you can do anything but hit the ball leftward off the tee. All three holes have plenty of room to the right, but sometimes the water seems to attract your ball like a magnet! 1.

Tee the ball up on the side of the trouble you are trying to avoid and aim away from it. This makes it much harder to hit the ball into the water. Make your last look towards where you want the ball to end up, not at where you don’t want it to go. Your body gravitates towards the last thing you see before you swing, so if your last glace is at the water, it’s amazing how often you will end up hitting the ball exactly there. Focus on your ball’s starting direction by picking a spot just in front of the ball and make sure you send the ball over that spot when you make your swing.

Echa tu último vistazo hacia donde deseas que termine la pelota, no hacia donde no quieres que vaya. Tu cuerpo gravita hacia lo último que ves antes de balancearte, así que, si tu última mirada es hacia el agua, te sorprenderá la frecuencia con la que terminarás golpeando la pelota a ese lugar. Enfócate en la dirección inicial de tu pelota eligiendo un punto frente a ella y asegúrate de enviarla sobre ese punto cuando hagas el swing.
