DISCOVER ASAI JAPANESE CUISINE & KA RESTAURANT Kupuri Beach Club expanded its culinary offerings with the debut of two new Asian restaurant concepts, Asai Japanese Cuisine and Ka Mexican -Asian Cuisine.

Located in the private dining area under the majestic Palapa at Kupuri, Asai Japanese Cuisine presents a more traditional Japanese menu by one of Mexico’s leading Japanese Chefs, Yasuo Asai – who is an avid Punta Mita fan. Asai Japanese Cuisine features a sushi counter and thoughtful Japanese dishes blended with the local seafood and products of Riviera Nayarit. Kupuri’s main palapa has been transformed into Ka, a restaurant serving an innovative menu of Mexican– Asian flavors in its alfresco palapa setting overlooking Litibu Bay. Its menu has been designed by one of our repeat Guest Chef’s Diane Dimeo, who happens to be of KoreanPersian descent. Now, having lived in Mexico for more than a decade, she artfully combines her love of Mexican cuisine with the flavors from her childhood.

Punta Mita has invited KIDDOU a well-recognized company, located in Nuevo Vallarta, specialized in outdoor and indoor activities for toddlers and young kids to create and generate unforgettable moments for the kids and for all the family during your stay here in Punta Mita paradise.

KIDDOULAND is located at Kupuri Beach Club and it’s open from 10:00am to 5:45pm daily. For those who would like to enjoy and live amazing new adventures the entire day, a day pass will be the best option, also we have half day passes and charges per hour.

The playground is divided into 4 play centers: art, Lego, nature, and creativity. We also have different play stations: restaurant, supermarket, theater, and extreme zone. The Kiddous have access to tons of different materials, games, and activities that we are going to enjoy together.

Jean will be offering a full suite of lessons to members and guests, according to his available schedule.

PACK FOR PUNTA DE MITA As tradition, this holiday season, Fundación DINE Punta Mita encourages all Homeowners, guests, and visitors of Punta Mita to join in on supporting the local children and their education (as they are returning to full presence school next year) by bringing school supplies for the children of Punta de Mita. Gift ideas include teaching materials, colored pencils, coloring books, notebooks, art supplies, etc., for children aged four years old and up.

Visitors can drop their gifts at Casa Mita, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. from December 1st, 2021 – January 31st, 2022 or with Concierge Team at Punta Mita Beach Clubs.

The Punta Mita Team will coordinate periodical deliveries to the kids with the support of Fundación Punta de Mita & PEACE Punta de Mita.

For all those in Punta Mita, we are excited to have our second Pickleball Championship on Saturday January 22nd. The tournament will be played in the morning with different qualifying round, and then having playoffs to determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. After the matches are done there will be a gathering with snacks and drinks with the award ceremony.

On the tennis side, we will be hosting our tennis interclub with El Tigre Tennis Club from Nuevo Vallarta on the morning of Saturday the 29th, this is the first of our yearly hosted interclub matches. The Tigre Tennis Club will be bringing a group of players with different levels to play our Punta Mita team throughout the morning and having some lunch and drinks afterwards.

The deadline to sign up for this event will be Monday January 17th

Para todos aquellos en Punta Mita, estamos emocionados de tener nuestro segundo Campeonato de Pickleball el sábado 22 de enero. El torneo se jugará por la mañana con diferentes rondas de clasificación, y luego habrá playoffs para determinar 1º, 2º y 3º lugar de los equipos.

Una vez finalizados los partidos se realizará la ceremonia de premiación con bocadillos y bebidas.

O una del lote más reciente, Venado Azul (la etiqueta azul) infusionado con nanche, una fruta agridulce con sabores cítricos representativa de Nayarit.

MEZ presenta arte mexicano contemporáneo que incluye al artista visual Carlos “Cachu” Aguilera con un mural que atrae a los visitantes para adentrarse en esta aventura que inicia al cruzar el colorido umbral del bar, también intervenido por el Maestro Aguilera. También se exhibe el arte de la artista plástica mexicana Lucero Flores, con una serie de hilos de colores combinados y tensados geométricamente para formar calaveras. Y en la entrada del bar, la emblemática instalación del artista colombiano José Laverde presenta a los actores mexicanos del Siglo de Oro María Félix y Jorge Negrete diciendo la máxima de la noche “El amor se acaba el Mezcal no”.

También se celebran los vinos de México y los vinos con alma mexicana; que son producidos por talentosos mexicanos en diferentes partes del mundo. Por supuesto, no podía faltar una selección de cerveza artesanal elaborada en México.
