WATER MAIN BREAK ORKNEY ROAD

• Water from the broken water main undermined Orkney Lane and caused the road to buckle.

• A City of Atlanta Vactor truck traveling on Orkney Lane fell into a section of the damaged roadway.

• COSF will install road closure signs to prevent thru traffic in the area of the watermain break.

• Orkney Lane is maintained by the COSF but will be repaired by the City of Atlanta due to their water line break causing damage to Orkney Lane and Loch Lomond Trail.

• Watermain will be repaired first, followed by the reconstruction of Orkney Lane and a portion of Loch Lomond Trail.

• Road will be reconstructed to COSF standards.
