7Cellars was founded by professional football icon John Elway, and his long-time business partner, Jeff Sperbeck. They partnered with iconic winemaker Rob Mondavi, Jr. to release the company’s first vintage of Reserve wines, with a 2013 Cabernet and a 2014 Chardonnay. After five successful and sold-out vintages of the Reserve, 7Cellars has expanded with another collection. The Farm Collection was released in March of 2020. This collection is offered at a more approachable price point, but with the same superior quality for which the brand is known.

The town of Amatitan is where Ricava Tequila is produced. Our distillery, NOM 1598 is one of the oldest in Jalisco and we only produce three brands, two of which are National Brands sold only in Mexico and Ricava is the only brand our distillery exports.
Our distillery has its own water source, the only one in Amatitan, which aids to our growing process. The fruit trees and agave are never thirsty. We have ample agave which also adds to our ability to produce enough Ricava Tequila to supply our growing demand.
We are in a very unique position as we will only fill our bottles with Ricava’s recipe, along with the other advantages mentioned, Ricava Tequila will always be there for you.

This year, we celebrate the 300th Anniversary of the coronation of king Louis XV, monarch of the Age of Enlightenment, who reigned over France from 1715 to 1774. It was a time of prosperity in which France enjoyed great influence around the world and he King, openminded and far-sighted, would play a major role in securing Champagne’s destiny. With a decree dated May 25,1728, he authorized wines from this region, and this region alone, to be sold and transported by the bottle rather than the barrel. This marked the birth of champagne because it is in the bottle that the carbon dioxide is produced, thus giving wines from Champagne their unique bubbles. This decree, designed specifically to boost development and fine tune in bottle second fermentation, was also the first to guarantee the origin and quality of wine from Champagne. Ever since, champagne has enjoyed consistent success; once it began being exported, it became a luxury product consumed by nobles and at courts across Europe.
