I am delighted to welcome Bridgend Street and everyone associated with their club to the Orange Llama Stadium. Hosting local clubs is always a special occasion, and today’s match promises to be an exciting event filled with the passion and intensity that local derbies are known for.

We come into this game following a hard-fought 1-0 defeat against Goytre in the Welsh Cup. While the scoreline did not favour us, it certainly does not reflect the quality of our performance.

Our team played exceptionally well, demonstrating skill, determination, and a strong tactical approach.

We created numerous opportunities and dominated possession for large portions of the match. However, Goytre deserves credit for their resilient defence and their ability to hold out under pressure, ultimately securing the win by putting bodies on the line.

Today's match is not only about competition but also about community and camaraderie. We are thrilled to welcome back former players Callum Gunstone and Abdul Moshin, who have been great servants to our club in the past. Their presence adds an extra layer of excitement to this derby, as they reunite with familiar faces and fans who have appreciated their contributions over the years.

To secure a victory today, we must replicate the intensity and performance we showed on Tuesday. Our team has been working diligently in training sessions, focusing on enhancing our strategies and teamwork.

The support from our fans has been incredible, providing the motivation needed to push our limits and strive for success.
