I would like to welcome all associated with Treherbert Boys & Girls FC to the Orange Llama Stadium.
We are thrilled to announce our latest signing, Haben Samson, who joins us from Caerau Ely FC. Haben is a versatile and talented player with the ability to excel in multiple positions. Having worked with him before, I am confident he will bring the same brilliance and creativity that I’ve witnessed firsthand. We look forward to seeing him make an impact on the pitch.
Coming into today’s game, we carry momentum from a solid 2-0 victory against Clydach. It was especially satisfying to secure a clean sheet. While the team initially struggled to find rhythm, Dylan Amin’s stunning goal gave us the boost we needed heading into the second half. The team’s performance was a testament to their resilience and determination.
Today’s opponents present a new challenge. They are a hardworking team known for their quality football and impressive victories against top sides. With several standout players in their ranks, we will need to be at our absolute best to secure three points. This match is another step in what we view as ten “cup finals” ahead of us, and we embrace the challenges these games bring.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our supporters for your unwavering encouragement. Your presence and energy mean so much to the team and the club as a whole. After the match, we invite you to join us at the community centre for refreshments and camaraderie.
Once again, thank you all for your continued support, and let’ exciting game today.

With five games left at the Orange Llama Stadium this season Ben Vincent says it’s important to make the most of their home advantage starting with Treherbert Boys & Girls Club this afternoon.
Cardiff Draconians returned to winning ways last time out with a 2 against Clydach to maintain their unbeaten record at home.
The Dracs have now won seven and drawn three of their first 10 matches at home and currently sit top of the Ardal Southwest.
Today, Vincent shares with Media Officer Joshua Thomas his thoughts on last Saturday’s win, his performances so far this campaign, today nents and the support by the fans.
JT: How pleased were you to get the win on Saturday after the disappointment of the last few weeks?
BV: It was important for us to get back to winning ways after the last few weeks. I think it was a bit of a relief getting the three points. Hopefully after this victory we can keep the momentum going and get back to winning ways for the reminder of the season
JT: It was a game where you had many opportunities to increase on your 2-0 lead, is good that you are getting those chances, or do you feel frustrated having not scored more than you did?
BV: It’s a mix of both, it’s very good that we are creating many opportunities, but we need to start being more ruthless in front of goal. Creating chances is great but pointless if we are not taking them. We’ve been working on our finishing in training and hopefully we will start taking our opportunities going forward.
JT: That win stretched your unbeaten home run to 10 in the league how important is it to keep that run going and keep making your ground a fortress for the rest of the season?
BV: It’s very important that we keep it this way for the remainder of the season. With only five games left at home this season, we need to make the most of our home advantage.
JT: How are you finding your performances this season?
BV: I think my performances have been good this season. I started the season very well but unfortunately I consistency has slightly dropped. Hopefully for the remainder of the season I can pick my form back up.
JT: I guess it’s been hard being on the bench for most of the games but is it about waiting for that chance to show what you can do and having a point to prove? How do you demonstrate patience waiting for that opportunity?
BV: Yes, it’s very frustrating being on the bench, however, as you said it’s about being patient and make the most of my opportunities. I do feel as if I have a point to prove when I’m coming on and I think it’s helped me perform well.
JT: What is it like being part of this squad, and with our recent signings do you feel like Cardiff Dracs are going places?
BV: It’s great being part of this squad. The spirit is very high, and the football quality is great, making it very easy to be a part of this club. I do believe we are going places no doubt. With all the players and staff around the club we can push on and go further
JT: Nana (Baah) described in his video interview last week the last 10 games as cup finals, how will you approach this final period of matches, knowing how close you are to promotion to the Cymru South, it s something within reach, how will you remain focussed and get the job
BV: We need to take every game as it comes. We have our goal to win the league, but we have to focus on our next game. I think it’s key to focus on the next game and get the three points then it
JT: What would it mean to you personally to go up and as a team?
BV: Personally, it would be a great achievement, and it would be one of my highlights of my career. As a team, I think we deserve promotion it would mean a lot to the boys and the club.
JT: Up next is Treherbert for your second of three successive home games, what are your thoughts on them and what are you looking to get out of it?
BV: Yeah, they’re a good side and it isn’t an easy fixture. Hopefully with our preparation we will get the win.
JT: How important is the support you have been getting this season; does it make a difference and is it something you feel when you play?
BV: The support is always very important; you can feel the support and energy when you play. Without a good support system from management, staff, players and fans, I feel like the morale really goes down and it affects us on and off the pitch. Having that boost really helps us all achieve more and enjoy what we are doing.

Report by Josh Thomas
Cardiff Draconians scored a goal in each half on their way to a 2-0 victory against Clydach on St David’s Day.
After a competitive first half, the first goal came on the stroke of half-time.
A dangerous corner was flicked on by Clayton Farrah into the path of Dylan Amin, who scored superbly at the near post to give the hosts a narrow but well-deserved lead at the break.
Nana Baah’s side came out after the interval with renewed confidence and went in search of a second after the Interval and struck again in fortuitous circumstances in the minute.
Dan Lewis’ cross was easily cut out by Gavin Challacombe, but as he attempted to chest the ball back to visiting goalkeeper Theo Bowden his pass back went beyond the shot-stopper before nestling into the back of the net, much to the joy and amusement of the home supporters.
The Dracs found themselves having several opportunities to increase their lead.
However, the Ardal Southern Southwest table leaders had to settle for just two in the Cardiff sunshine as claimed their second win from their last three at the Orange Llama Stadium.
