If you live in the ACT, you may be eligible for

the Taxi Subsidy Scheme (TSS) which involves

subsidised accessible taxi trips if you are unable to use public transport due to your disability. For people who require a taxi that caters for

mobility difficulties or disabilities, Wheelchair

Accessible Vehicles are purpose-built vehicles complete with hydraulic lifts to secure

passengers with wheelchairs and scooters safely into the taxi. To book and request an accessible vehicle simply call Zero200 on 02 8332 0200 if

you live in NSW or 13WATS on 13 92 87 if you live in the ACT.

If you need to access alternative public transport options within the ACT, the Community

Transport Coordination Centre can provide

assistance with community public transport.

For more information call them on 02 6205 3555 (Monday to Friday 9am-4pm) or visit transport.act.gov.au.
