Take a walk on the vile side and pay tribute to the world’s most nefarious Disney characters with our 2023 Drama Camp VILLAINS! Join the Jr Art Park Players this summer for this two week musical theatre camp, where you’ll sing, dance and act your way through some of the most classic, evil and villianous songs from classic Disney films. Packed with food, fun and all things stage, this is one camp you don’t want to miss. Camp includes a daily meal, camp t-shirt, and a musical revue performance at the end of camp.

BEGINNING MODELING CAMP

Modeling for young ladies goes beyond striking a pose. Train in runway modeling, interview skills, public speaking, and more, with a fashion show at camps end. Our young ladies will learn runway modeling, social graces, public speaking, makeup application, skin care, interview techniques, and posing for the photographer. The makeup and skin care products will be provided for the girls to use and each will receive a bag of various cleansing and makeup sponges and appli cators. Enroll in Drama Camp, pack a lunch and stay from 10am-5pm

ADVANCED MODELING CAMP

June 12th - 16th | 10 AM - 12 PM | M-F | Ages 6- 18 |

Move on from the runway to print modeling and portfolio building with our advance model training that includes a professional photo shoot and fashion show at camps end. This course is specifically for the young ladies of all ages who received certification in the previous course. This advance course will review skills learned in the earlier course and will add lessons in selecting an agent, completing a resume, and preparing your portfolio and resume. The young ladies will also participate in a fashion show and have a photo session with a professional photographer when they will receive their advanced certification. Enroll in Drama Camp, pack a lunch and stay from 10am-5pm.

ACTING CAMP

July 10th - 14th | 2 PM - 5 PM M-F | Ages 6- 18

Enjoy a week long camp that focuses on the actors’ craft and receive extensive training on the art of acting and the various techniques of comedic and dramatic performance. Acting showcase will be presented at the camps end.

THE MUSIC MAN

By turns wicked, funny, warm, romantic and touching, The Music Man is family entertainment at its best. Meredith Willson's six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy has been entertaining audiences since 1957 and is a familyfriendly story to be shared with every generation.

The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize –this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall.
