The purpose of the courses in the CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing emergencies to know to give immediate care to a suddenly ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.

It’s Time To Get Goals this Summer with Little Pro’s Youth Sports Soccer Season! Professional Athlete La’Queda Davis offers Little Pro’s Youth Sports to the community. Little Pro’s Youth Sports provides camps, clinics, and youth sports leagues for boys and girls for all sports. Our Sports Programs are designed as an introductory, intermediate, and elite level of sports for families focused on safety, convenience, and most importantly fun learning.

There is something for everyone in this program! Each week we will focus on a different sport or activity with the goal of getting kids moving and having fun outside! Each sport will be presented using fun drills and activities, making this program for kids of any ability or experience level. This instructor led program allows you to try out every sport with a rotating schedule.
LIL’ FIRECRACKER DASH

Come and celebrate Fourth of July weekend with some fitness. Lil' Firecracker Dash is new to Dow Park this year. Whether it's the 100-meter dash, the 200-meter dash or the One-Mile Run, it will be an amazing experience for kids! We will have a prerace warm up dance party and medals to all that cross the finish line.

The summer track program is off ered for grades K - 12th and is a great way for kids and teenagers to compete and get in shape! The program runs from June 5 - July 28 and is instructed by veteran track coaches Andy Williams and Tendai Lynch.

Experience a full body workout including strength, balance, flexibility, and toning while using provided fitness equipment. Movements are inspired by ballet and blended with Pilates/Yoga. Appropriate for all, modifications provided. Students will need to bring their own mats.
Students have the option of choosing between Yoga, Pilates, and Barre for the 1 class and 2 classes per week option. You will communicate your choice to the instructor post-registration.
The 4 classes/week option includes all 3 activities.
SUMMER FENCING - CADET

Basic class in fencing fundamentals, largely focused on fencing with the foil (fencing with the epee and sabre are also covered). Classes revolve around learning and perfecting footwork and bladework techniques. The final class of each month is given over to competition within the class using the same electronic scoring systems as encountered at local tournaments. This class is good for beginners and those perfecting their techniques. No prior experience required. Basic fencing equipment is provided.
SUMMER FENCING - COMPETITIVE

Open fencing class with electronic scoring for fencers who already possess some experience and training. Fencers learn by competing with each other. Fencing with foil, epee or sabre is at the discretion of the fencers. Some equipment is provided, but competitive fencers are expected to supply all or most of their personal gear themselves. Scoring systems provided by the instructor. As the name states, this is a competitive group for fencers looking to seriously compete in local tournaments.
MARTIAL ARTS - KENPO

Karate is an art, that through learning self-awareness, teaches discipline and respect towards others and yourself. Our style is American Kenpo from the Ed Parker lineage. Our head instructor is Sijo James E. Smith. He has over 50 years of experience. We challenge our students to earn their ranks through the system as well as participate in Workshops, Karate Tournaments, and Demonstrations. Registration Fee includes T-shirt and a uniform with a white belt.

HIGH Fitness has brought aerobics back in a hip and unique way, and the world is taking notice! Think Old School Aerobics made modern. Cardio and toning meet Jane Fonda with a side of Richard Simmons. You will have a blast, see real results both physically and mentally, and leave this class wanting more because it is so much fun! Take it HIGH or take it low! Options given for all levels of fitness.
