STEPPING STONE PAINTING CLASS

Join us on Wednesday, June 28th from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM for a fun art craft, designing your own stepping stones! We will be providing all supplies for you to paint a 12in x 12in stepping stone. Fun way to bring your creativity to your yard! There is a $8 registration fee for residents and $10 registration fee for non-residents.

Let us ring in the summer with a fun wreath class! Join us at the Maxwell Adult Center as we create a fun wreath out of a sunhat with summer themed props like flowers. All supplies will be included. Class will be at the Maxwell Adult Center on June 23rd, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

MINI PATRIOTIC WREATH PIN

Join us Monday, July 3rd from 2:30pm to 4:30pm as we will be creating a mini wreath pin, themed for the 4th of July made out of fabric and buttons. This is a fun way to bring in holiday cheer to wear! All supplies will be provided. There is a $10 registration fee to participate.

PAINTED ROCK CACTUS GARDEN

These cacti never need water or sunshine and will look great inside or outside! Painting rocks is a fun and easy craft for any time of the year. Come join the Maxwell Adult Center and create your very own cactus garden using rocks.

COLOR ME CALM

Every Tuesday from June 6th – August 29th

Need an artistic outlet to be able to destress? Join the Maxwell Adult Center in our hour long session of Color Me Calm. During this time, you will be able to explore the benefits of mindful drawing and coloring for one’s mental health and physical wellbeing. This is a come and go time frame every Tuesday from 12 PM - 1 PM!

OIL PAINTING

Every Tuesday beginning June 6th

Have a passion for oil painting? We offer two sessions where an instructor guides you on your creative journey! One session is in the morning and the second is in the afternoon. If you are interested please call the Maxwell Adult Center at 281-478-7276.

KNITTING AND CROCHET

Knitting and Crochet enthusiast? Well come on down to the Maxwell Center! We have a group that meets every Thursday from 9 AM - 11:30 AM, where you can learn some new tips and tricks as well pass on some knowledge. It is a FREE program to come out to and make new friends!

QUILTING

Calling all quilting enthusiasts! Stop in on Fridays to join our quilters group and spend some time creating quilts to donate to organizations, meeting new friends, and learning new tips! Supplies not included.
