Greetings from Mayor Rochelle Robinson

Greetings fellow residents!

This 2025 Summer Edition of the Douglasville Impact Newsletter is packed with exciting details about the fun activities we have lined up for this summer! Inside, you'll find information about some of our favorite events, including the annual 4th of July Parade, Food Truck & Music Mondays, and Yoga on the Green.

Last summer, we saw recordbreaking attendance at our Wednesday Wind Down Concerts! It’s so inspiring to see this annual series grow each year, bringing our

community together for music and fun I’m looking forward to seeing what this year’s concerts have in store. Be sure to check out the full lineup of performers on our website and get ready to enjoy some amazing live music this summer!

As you explore the events we’ve planned, I hope you’re reminded of why Life Happens Here. Douglasville has experienced incredible growth over the past few years, and we remain dedicated to organizing activities and events that bring our residents together and

strengthen our community

A Message from City Manager Marcia Hampton

As summer begins, I want to highlight the work we’re doing to support our growing community. From organizing events like the 4th of July Parade and Wednesday Wind Down Concert Series to improving public spaces and infrastructure, we’re focused on keeping Douglasville vibrant and welcoming for everyone None of this would be possible without our dedicated city staff, who work tirelessly to plan and execute these events.

This season is also a time to reflect on the progress we’ve made I encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities to connect with neighbors, visit our parks, and enjoy all that Douglasville offers. As you do, know that we are continuing to work on projects and initiatives to sustain our city’s growth and enhance quality of life

Thank you for helping make Douglasville a community we can all be proud of. I look

forward to what we will achieve together in the months ahead.
