Dress Up & Enter DOT ’s Halloween Costume Contest

Halloween is just around the corner and many of you are busy putting costumes for yourselves or family members. This year, our newsletter team will be judges for the first ever DOT’s Halloween Costume Contest. We invite you to dress your original, ghoulish, hilarious or adorable apparel.
To enter, send a photo of your costume to Kyle Gregg at kyle.m.gregg@hawaii.gov by noon, Nov. 1. Only five winners will be announced and each will receive a $20 gift card. Your photo might be in the November issue! Honorable mentions will also have their photos in the newsletter.

Health Wellness Fair Set for Oct. 30

What better way to kick-off HDOT’s Worksite Wellness Program, than with a Health and Wellness Fair! DOT is partnering with the Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund (EUTF) to plan an awesome event for HDOT employees on Oahu. The Fair will feature vendors that will provide health and benefits information, perform
biometric screenings and teach short, two-minute stretches to do at your desk. Since the fair is the day before Halloween, why not learn about healthy alternatives to passing out candy to trick-or-treaters? See FAIR page 2
