FAITH AND SERVICE
Rooted in the tradition of St. Francis of Assisi, our Catholic faith guides students as they learn to walk in the light of the Gospel and become faith leaders on our campus, in our community, and throughout the world.
MCC students learn how to see the face of Christ in their neighbors while serving at local food banks, soup kitchens, and caring for God’s creation.
These experiences teach our community members how to be Christ’s hands and feet in our world. Because the goals of the program are central to the goals of Catholic education, each student must complete a minimum of 25 hours of community service each year. The result of this experience is a growing awareness of the needs of others, greater compassion and a thirst for justice.

NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS
Melbourne Central Catholic awards need-based financial aid annually. The process starts with a family completing a FACTS Grant and Aid application (online.factsmgt.com/aid).
FACTS provides family need and the MCC Financial Aid Committee reviews the applications and determines the needbased award.
Because we review need-based awards annually, families must complete a FACTS Grant and Aid application each year.

EDUCATION SAVINGS ACCOUNT (ESA)
This scholarship replaces the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO) and Florida Tax Credit (FTC) scholarships. This provides funding for private school tuition and fees. All children of Florida residents who are eligible to attend public school in grades K-12 are eligible for a scholarship. There are no income requirements.
A family may not accept a scholarship from more than one of these State-Funded Scholarship programs for the same time period.
My time at MCC was such an extraordinary blessing in my life. The environment created by the teachers and students helped me grow in knowledge and my faith. I will forever be thankful for all the opportunities and how MCC has prepared me for the future as I move on to the next stage of my life.
MATT TECSON ‘23 University of Notre Dame
I am thankful for the foundation MCC has given me over the past four years by strengthening my faith and allowing me to create lifelong friendships. Because of MCC’s close-knit community, I have developed stronger connections with my teachers, which has helped me succeed academically. I have been blessed that MCC is a welcoming community that encourages diversity amongst its students in academic abilities, interests, and cultures. My strongest bonds have been made through playing soccer, participating in PIT Crew (peer mentoring), and hosting an exchange student. As I transition to college at FSU, I can confidently say MCC has prepared me academically, socially, and spiritually for the challenges to come.
