The Columbus Georgia Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is proud to announce its 23rd Biennial Beautillion Ball to be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
What is a Beautillion Ball? It is a formal ball where young men in the tri-city and surrounding areas are introduced and presented to society. However, it is so much more than that. We select junior and senior high school students to participate in an intensive 9-month personal and leadership development program that provides mentoring and a variety of workshops focused on topics such as: financial literacy, building a “personal brand”, resume writing, public speaking, etiquette, and they will have the opportunity to volunteer in several community service activities. The workshops are led by leaders throughout the state and the Columbus, Georgia area. The 9-month personal and leadership development program culminates into the 23rd Biennial Beautillion Ball.
Since 1979, the Beautillion Ball has been our premiere and signature fundraising event. Proceeds from the Beautillion Ball will be donated to the Jack and Jill Foundation and deserving local charities and non-profit organizations. Some of the past recipients have included Girls Inc., The Boys and Girls Club, House of Mercy, West Georgia Cancer Coalition and many other organizations have benefited from our donations over the past 40 plus years. These organizations continue to impact and change the world one child at a time.
In recent years we have averaged between 15-25 Beau participants. This year, we received over 65 applications and we have selected 35 talented young men to move forward in this process!
