À semelhança do XC40 Recharge, o C40 Recharge terá um dos melhores sistemas de infotainment do mercado, desenvolvido em conjunto com a Google e tendo por base o sistema operativo Android. Nos mercados onde vai estar disponível, irá oferecer aos condutores as aplicações da Google disponíveis localmente e os vários serviços integrados, como o Google Maps, o Google Assistant e a Google Play Store. A capacidade das baterias é de 78kWh e é possível carregar, em cerca de 40 minutos, 80% do seu limite. O C40 Recharge oferece uma autonomia de 420 km (WLTP) que deverá também ela melhorar ao longo do tempo através das atualizações de software “over-the-air”. O C40 Recharge deverá chegar a Portugal no final deste ano estando disponível para encomenda online. Em linha com a ambição de construir uma linha de produto menos complexa, o novo automóvel terá uma gama de versões mais reduzida e que será oportunamente divulgada. Ao adquirir, online, o novo C40 Recharge, o cliente comprará não só o automóvel, mas também uma vasta gama de serviços como a manutenção, a garantia, a assistência em viagem, o seguro e as opções de carregamento doméstico. O modelo tem início de produção prevista para o outono de 2021 e será fabricado na fábrica belga da Volvo Cars, em Gent.

Unlimited data enables superior connectivity and the C40 Recharge will receive software updates over the air. That means it will continue to improve over time after it has left the factory. The propulsion consists of twin electric motors, one on the front and one on the rear axle, powered by a 78kWh battery that can be fastcharged to 80 per cent in about 40 minutes. It offers an anticipated range of around 420 km, which is expected to improve over time via over-the-air software updates. The fully electric C40 Recharge will be available online only. In line with its ambition of reducing complexity in its model offering and focus on attractive pre-selected variants, Volvo Cars has drastically simplified the consumer offering of the C40 Recharge. When customers get a new C40 Recharge, it will come with a convenient care package that includes items such as service, warranty, roadside assistance, as well as insurance and home charging options. The C40 Recharge will go in production this fall and will be built at the Volvo Cars manufacturing plant in Ghent, Belgium.
