Rallying and Raising Funds at GPA - Castin Galicia
Hello, fellow Key Clubbers! I hope this message finds you well! I want to reflect on the events of November. Our enthusiastic Key Clubbers attended Fall Rally, where everyone had an enjoyable time participating in cheers and bonding with one another. Additionally, we delved into various volunteer opportunities and explored the activities planned for our Winter Market, which will be taking place at Guajome on December 6th from 2:15 PM to 6:30 PM; it would be wonderful to see you there! If you’re interested in lending a hand, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Mission Vista

MVHS at FRS!
By Isabella Ramirez

Mission Vista Key Club has been busy this past month! We all have been working so hard to prepare for FRS this month and all our hard work paid off! We all had such a blast and we loved interacting with the rest of D37’W. We have been practicing our cheers this whole month and we had fun showing off our spirit. We loved making memories this year and we look forward to next year's FRS. We also had club carnival this month here at Mission Vista. We sold Thai tea and it was so fun!!

Key2College - Josiah Andino-Cregar
This month, El Camino’s Key Club joined Key2College at UCSD, hosted by Circle K! Our
Senior and Junior members were able to attend and ask any questions or concerns in regards to college. They were able to get help with their applications, prepare for college, and connect with fellow Key Club members from other schools!

In addition, our club updates members on various volunteer opportunities around the community, like Holiday at the Rancho at Leo Carrillo and the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast that happened earlier this month. Hopefully we are bl t establish a fundraiser for this club
Stay tuned!

Vista High

This is my second year in Key Club, and while that might sound like nothing in the grand scheme of things, to me it has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life.

The opportunity to serve your community is a notion that we always talk about, not one that we always put into action. Key Club is the answer to that dilemma. When you join your local chapter, y are given a million doors and pathwa that you can walk through where you make a real impact.
No matter how small, at the end of t day you can say you did something, something you can be proud of.
Written by: Mats Dykstra

But, that is not even the best part!

The most rewarding part of Key Club are the connections and friendships you make along the way. You get to meet dozens of other students comp different from yourself, but u service.
So, keep splashin’, and keep s -Mats Dykstra

HowCanWe DoBetter?
An Advisory Column Focusing On The DLT

Communication is Key
Out of personal experience of being on the DLT for the 2023-2024 term, based on observation I would say the current DLT would benefit from more communication. For example with FRS this month, most members were very confused at the spirit rally because our actual first cheer was listed as the second. Most members who sat around me were shocked by this because most of them practiced what was listed as cheer #1, resulting in not the strongest performance we could’ve had as a division. If a DLT member spotted this and knew the correct order communicating with their peers or even if the DLT communicated with the general members informing them of the mix up. Either instance would have benefited everyone in the division.
