Whats Up White Tigers!
What’s up White Tigers! I’m so excited for you all to read the first newsletter of the 2025 to 2026 term! Thank you all who applied for DLT, it was inspiring to see how many people are passionate to see our division grow! I’m so excited to bloom into the term with all the events I have planned for this summer!
As this is the first newsletter created by your one and only, I want to be able to connect with you all by giving you a more personal introduction. I am currently a Junior at North Hollywood High and have an amazing IP, Emma, who is also from North Hollywood. This division and Key Club entirely have helped me grow so much as a person, so I hope that I can reflect much of this growth and passion onto you guys. I love the summer and spring weather and hope to plan many fun DCMs over summer break such as having water games, and a beach clean up! A few of my favorite things to do are go to the beach, play tennis, eat good food, and spend time with friends and family. I hope to bond with all of our members to ensure they can have a person in Key Club they can always rely on. I truly intend to serve our division to the best of my abilities, and with your passion, I believe your service will count the most.

Ramen Officer Bonding
This month, some of our junior Key Club officers gathered for a delicious and productive bonding session at Silverlake Ramen! Over our bowls of ramen and other exciting menu items, we enjoyed getting to know each other better outside of our usual meetings. It was a great opportunity to strengthen our teamwork and build stronger connections as a leadership group. We also discussed our goals for the upcoming term, including ways to improve member engagement and expand our impact on the community. One exciting idea we brainstormed was a possible fundraiser collaboration with our favorite ramen shop, Silverlake Ramen, combining great food with a great cause. We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to serve!

Alliance MIT Tote Bags
Hey White Tigers! At Alliance MIT, our most recent activity took place during one of the previous club meetings. We had our griffins who were a part of key club work on their own tote bags! Members were provided with snacks and painting supplies to celebrate the newly elected Key Club officers. People came up with so many cool and unique designs like stingrays and flowers to name a few! Our white tigers had so much fun showing their creativity by making a piece of Key Club that they could take home with them, as well as just being able to eat yummy snacks.

Key Club Helps BHS IMA!

On May 2nd and 3rd, BHS Key Club members volunteered at the BHS IMA Pop Concert. Volunteers helped set up the event, served as ushers, sold tickets, and handed out food and drinks at concessions. The White Tigers also got to watch our Burbank High School Band Ensemble perform BHS Key Club and BHS as a whole is so proud to have this band at our school The concert was a testament to the students’ dedication, resulting in a performance that earned thunderous applause As the night came to a close, volunteers organized and cleaned up by packing up the equipment. With the help of our volunteers, BHS Band was able to have an efficient and successful concert

member recognition
Advisor of the Month: Justine Bunis, North Hollywood
Justine Bunis should be advisor of the month because, not only is she kind, hardworking, and organized, she also has the time to manage all of her AP U S History classes along with her honors history classes in addition to being North Hollywood's key club advisor. She has always been up to date with the key club meetings and kind enough to support North Hollywood's key club with her leisure time during lunch.
Club of the month: Burbank Key Club
Although it was AP Season and soon will be summer break, they have continued to promote volunteer events and had a consistent amount of key clubbers attending each one. For the next school year, we are excited to see what's in play with new key clubbers next year.
Member of the month: Chancie Quib, North Hollywood
Chancie Quib is recognized for Key Club member of the month because she has been to most of the key club events, even DCON! Although she cannot attned meetings on main campus, she has been an active member by attending most, if not all division events. Chancie deserves recognition for being a part of the club for almost two years and taking the time to participate in the activities the club has to offer
Officer of the month: Ayah Gharieb, John Burroughs
Ayah is the current vice president that was elected for this new term At Burroughs there was not much interest in running for board, so their officer board is tiny but mighty. Because there are tasks unfulfilled, Ayah has taken on created the articles and visuals for her club every month! Overall she’s an amazing officer and is very deserving of officer of the month!
