D16S DLT Bonding
In June, five of our Providence officers joined the Division Leadership Team Bonding at Gen KBBQ for an unforgettable day! We laughed, swapped stories, and even showed off our grilling skills while enjoying mouthwatering food that left us happily stuffed The energy was amazing as we connected with new friends and bonded over our shared experiences. After our delicious feast, we headed to the galleria, where we snapped some fun and silly photos at the photo booth to capture the memories. It was truly a day filled with joy, laughter, and teamwork. We left feeling closer than ever, excited for what’s to come, and grateful for such a fantastic bonding experience!

Alliance MIT Officers Summer Hobbies!
Hey White Tigers! Hope everyone is having an amazing summer having fun and staying productive. All the officers here at Alliance MIT have been doing a bunch of different things to keep us active throughout summer Starting with me, I’ve been keeping myself physically active by riding my bike! Our class director, Yasashi, has been actively volunteering at the Children’s Hunger Fund and her local pet shelter Our vice-president, Heidi, has been physically active through walking a lot around the college campus her summer program is at. And finally our president, Esmerelda, has been doing summer cheer practice. Those are just some of our summer hobbies, hope you all are staying productive and enjoying this break!

Key Club Helps Jensen Schmidt Tennis Academy!
On June 16-18, Burbank Key Club volunteered to help people with down syndrome create long lasting memories of tennis fun. The Jensen Schmidt Tennis Academy is hosted annually, a reoccurring event where Burbank Key Club members love to participate. This event was hosted at the Burbank Tennis Center, where volunteers and people with down syndrome met. The event paired up the volunteers and people with down syndrome to play various games and activities. Key Club members and children and adults with down syndrome made many memories and new friendships during this wonderful event.

Advisor: Mr. Underwood (Burbank)
Mr. Underwood is the greatest advisor they could’ve ever asked for. Mr. Underwood is always there to help out or provide his room for them to hold meetings, distribute stoles and cords, or basically anything. He is very versatile and helps out in whatever way he can.

Janelle has only been a part of the club for a year, but her enthusiasm matches other long-term members. She is always excited to come to meetings and do service projects
Club: North Hollywood High School
This club is club of the month because based off of every officer, every person in the club, and all the great things about this club, there is no other right answer than North Hollywood. Noho from time to time again has gone to show their hard work to connect clubs from Division 16 South. Members of our division feel as though they have only been treated with the utmost respect and love from this group of people.
Officer: Visart Maneenop (Poly)
Although all officers of Poly’s Keyclub are new to their positions, Visart has shown great determination when it comes to showing Poly’s support for the community. For instance, while very few people attended the San Fernando RD Bike Road Path Community Clean-up, Visart had stepped up to act as a representation of not only Poly but as well as the club as well.
