A message from your editor: What's Roaring Lions?

HAPPY FALL!!

I hope your start to the school year has gone smoothly! Hopefully, you all have had a chance to get involved with your Key Clubs at school!

If not, be sure to attend Club Rush or contact your club president! Be on the lookout for more division events to come. In this newsletter, you’ll get to see some past events that our clubs have put on.

A message from your LTG: HEY HEY LIONS! Hope school is going well! Remember that between your Key Club duties and school commitments, it is most important to take care of YOURSELF! Make sure you are getting all your sleep, regular exercise, and eating proper food!

I am super excited to see how Club Rush goes for all of you! So far, I've seen some super creative and fun promotional activities, and I am sure our division is going to see incredible growth this year! To the clubs who haven't had their club rushes yet, I encourage you to reach out to clubs who already have for advice, ideas, and material!

Articles and Visuals- Trabuco Hills Mustang Roundup In the month of August, Trabuco Hills Key Club members helped out at Mustang Roundup! Mustang Roundup is registration for Trabuco Hills students of all grades. Trabuco Hills Key Club had members help out on all days of the Roundup, assisting at the library station. At this station, members helped with giving students books for their classes. This event not only allowed members to get to know what books are for what classes, but also to get to know some new peers from the school. Volunteering at Mustang Roundup allowed for members to interact with students that they may have never interacted with before! Walking around while giving the student books allowed time for members to talk to the students about their goals for the upcoming school year. Some of the members who are upperclassmen also enjoyed giving advice to the underclassmen about classes and high school life. This volunteering event was also a great way for members to ease their way back into the school year as they came back to school after summer break. Mustang Roundup allowed for some of the members that did not see each other during the summer to see each other once again as well. Even though school was something to dread as the days came closer, it brought the members together back to a place where they all first started their Key Club journey!

District Spotlight on Service Program Each month, the CNH District Service Projects Committee puts out a theme for service project ideas. The September Spotlight on Service Program theme is Pediatric Trauma Program. There are many ways to get involved with this theme.

Upcoming Events Our next division event is our September Scavenger Hunt DCM! At this event, Lions will be participating in a Scavenger Hunt and will win prizes/candy! We will also be collecting clothes for a clothing drive. Be sure to mark your calendars for a fun day with our division!
