Lockdown is a new experience for all of us, causing vast unexpected changes to our daily lives. We have been forced to adapt, allowing us to transform into a new kind of uneasy reality.

Some have found it to be a happy time, seeing it as an opportunity to take time to relax from this ever-turning world, yet others are finding it a challenge where it’s taking a very real physical and mental toll, going against the grain of what our ‘normal’ has always been seen to be.

The continuous news virus updates are putting some minds on high alert and causing increased worry about what the future really holds; causing a feeling of helplessness, worrying about the uncertain future; causing a sap in our energy and causing our immune systems to plummet. Yet, at the same time, trying to work, school at home and keep relationships healthy. And some have even more lifechanging events, such as trying to

move house, change jobs, divorce, losing a loved one or being a carer. All of these are more complicated than they used to be and taking a longer period of time to process, making these life-changing events even more exhausting.
