Join us as we talk about how to find out what will be on your ballot, ways to reliably research candidates and ballot proposals, and actionable steps you can take to prepare to get to the polls on Election Day. Thursday, October 10, 2024 @ Noon - Did you know that there are many ways to cast your vote? In this workshop, we will learn about the various voting options available, including in-person, absentee, early mail, and accessible absentee, and factors to consider when deciding which option is best for you. During the week of October 7 – 11, REV UP! NY and DRNY will host training sessions from 12 – 12:30PM to discuss a variety of voting related topics that impact voters with disabilities. You must register for each individual training session. .
Friday, October 11, 2024 @ Noon - Join us as we learn different approaches to respond to barriers at the polls, including strategies for self-advocacy, the use of voter hotlines, and other complaint remedies.
