DID YOU RECEIVE AN OTHER-THAN-HONORABLE DISCHARGE? An other-than-honorable discharge can often bar you from important veteran benefits or employment opportunities. If that discharge was received because of traumatic brain injury (TBI) or from behaviors related to it you can petition your branch’s Discharge Review Board (DRB) or your branch’s Board for Correction of Records (BCR) to have that discharge ‘upgraded’, or changed.
