PILLOWTALK W/THETEA

What is pillow talk w/ tea?

Pillow Talk with the Tea Podcast is a Open, Truthful, Candid, Unguarded and Raw podcast that discuss uncomfortable conversations with a sip of some HOT TEA. A no judgment zone with an old school family vibe and straightforward kitchen table talk!!! We're exploring on all topics and subjects that most people are afraid to talk about and discuss. We're no longer sweeping it under the rug and pulling the rug from underneath your feet STRAIGHT FORWARD, TO THE POINT in REAL TALK!!!

What inspired you to get in podcast industry?

What is inspired me to get into the podcast industry? Two things it was my family members and friends who continuously told me that people need a me in their life, who will tell them what they need to hear and not what they want to hear. Me sharing my voice and telling my story to the world will give a young woman, young man, or women and men the courage to share their own stories and stand in their power of their story alone. Our community needs to begin to heal and by doing so we have to start with the uncomfortable conversations that a lot us have annoyed, ran from or choose not deal with.

Whats some advice you would give someone looking to go into your industry?

The advice I will give someone looking to get into the podcast industry is to come in being unapologetically themselves, believe in what they are doing, have the passion for it, choose to use your voice for the greater good and for the better of your community, research and know your guest you’re inviting to interview, remember silence is power (you don’t need to over share what you’re doing until it’s done and when so those who need to see it will and those who don’t it wasn’t meant for them to see it at the time), don’t participate or engage into the negativity and to have thick skin in this industry.

What keeps you motivated?

What keeps me motivated is me being able to tell my story and share my story to people and if it just help, touch or reach one person I’ve done my assignment. Also what motivates me is me telling my story for those who are no longer here to tell or share their stories, so I stand in power with them and the remembrance of them.

What is a moment in your business that you are proud of?

A moment in my business that I am proud of is that I am a one woman army and that I do this all by myself (of course with the assistance of my guest, interviewees and collabs) I’m so very proud of that because not many people could really say that. Doing this by myself I came into the Podcast industry less than a year and a half and everything that you see that has unfolded and been released was just short of a 15 month time frame which it would have taken others two to three years of work to do what I have done. I’m also proud of moments in my business that a lot people don’t get to see or hear about is when the young ladies, women and some men reach out to me in my DM’s and let me know that my story, my strength, my courageous and my motivation inspires them to finally walk into their own, share and tell their stories and give them courage that there’s a light at the end of their tunnel that’sbright.

Who has been your favorite podcast interviewandwhy?

Who has been my favorite podcast interview and why I can honestly say my interviewwithJeannieFergusonhasbeen one of my favorite interviews and I say that because every women could look at her and see themselves within her, every woman can relate to her and she’s relatable to every woman. And knowing the fact that she came into a modeling industry a full figure plus size model industry that she really had no passion to evenwanttobeinandthandoingsowith theencouragementofhersister, shecame in dominating, broke down barriers and gave women the encouragement to look at themselves and say if she could do it, I cantoo.Andherwalkislegendary!!!

BOOK REVIEW

Review

Napolean Hill researched this magic potion for more than 20 years, and it is tested by thousands of people in almost every walk of life. Be prepared to see some very famous names in the preface who have tried and testedthisformula.

The book is comprised primarily of thirteen steps to success, which are essentially the main chapters. Additionally, some chapters consistofreal-lifestoriesoftheapplicationof these principles. Claims that greats like Henry Ford, Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison approve of this secret have been mentioned.

To say that I was impressed by the book would be an understatement. How will you get the desired position for a job? How to apply for it? To self-analyze, have you ever asked yourself 28 life-altering questions? Andonansweringthem, youwillfindanswer to all your hardships. Did you know why mostmenaresuccessfulattheagebetween 40 and 60? Did you know there are 6 ghosts offear, andeachoneofusanswerstoatleast oneofthem?."

You will find answers to everything that has stopped you from getting the riches you deserved. After reading the book, I have convincedmyselfthatIamgoingtoworkon this mulah-making formula. In fact, I have already begun. If this isn’t enough proof for you of the book's effectiveness, I don’t know whatwillbe.

And it applies to every walk of life. That’s the bestpart.

My Favorite aspect of the book was the step by step approach to all the given techniques to achieve the impossible. WHAT YOU NEED GETTING STARTED

There are many ways to make money in your spare time. one side hustle I have decided to take on is the sublimation business. With good work and the right marketing, sublimation can be a lucrative business. I am going to be giving you and idea of what you need to get started in this business.

The first and most important thing you need in the sublimation business is a sublimation printer. There are many options when it comes to sublimation printers. I started with an epson ecotank that costed around $300. Regular printers do not print sublimation. so it would need to be converted to work. Along with the printer you would need sublimation ink and sublimation paper. you will also need a computer in order to work the printer and print out designs. The software you use is up to you but I use photoshop for my prints.

After finding the printer of your choice and converting it and getting you paper you will need a heat press. You can use any heat press of your choice I started with a handheld and recently updated to a clamp. The press is used to heat the ink in order th transfer it on to the object. once you have all these things you need your sublimation product. I started my sublimation business doing phone cases but it is up to you on what you decide to start with. for more tips you can schedule a 1on1 class with me to help get your business started today.

What inspired you to start a clothing line?

The last inspirational push to truly get this started was during one of my lowest moments in life. I would drink bottles of alcohol dang near every night. Tried to drown myself with alcohol, and had thoughts of taking my life. One night, in my dream, I seen the hand of Jesusreachdowntome, allIneededtodowas reach out. Growing up I’ve never had an abundance of clothes, nor shoes. Majority of what I owned was given by the sports team I participated on. Through Jesus wanting to touch my hand and help me I wanted to touch people with motivation and education. What better way to touch people than starting a clothing line? The clothes are literally on their body. Collections will motivate individuals and education is what we value from the material toinformationwegivestartupbrands.

BEST EXERCISES TO DO AT HOME

Push Ups

Push-ups may seem like a basic exercise that works only your upper arms and chest, but when you do them the right way, they use muscles all over your body. You can do them just about anywhere, they can be adjusted to fit any ability level -- and they’re free!

Jumping jacks

One of the key benefits of jumping jacks is that they’re a full-body exercise, meaning the move works the lower body, upper body, and core muscles

Jumping jacks can specifically improve aerobic capacity, decrease resting heart rate and blood pressure, decrease risk of cardiovascular disease, improve metabolism, and help to maintain a healthy weight

Side Stretch

The side stretch exercise stretches and strengthens the intercostal muscles. These are the muscles between the ribs. They help support the ribs. The seated side bend is a soothing yoga pose that stretches the neck, shoulders, back, and obliques. This pose helps to relax the mind and relieves stress and anxiety.
